Nikon ones are the same price and are probably from the same manufacturer. But after cleaning my filters with these, I have noticed a purplish film smear left on the filter glass. Wonder if this affects the images?
NIKON wipes dry a bit faster, I’ve noticed the slight smear and it hasn’t affected images. That is usually a sign of not having been cleaned in some time, a second wipe has always taken care of it.
ZEISS is a bit wetter and is more prone to leaving spots, which have also not affected images in my experience.
Neither is perfect, so choose which bothers you most.
Myself, I prefer the NIKON brand, but keep some ZEISS on hand for the rare overly dirty filter ... using the ZEISS to remove heavier atmospheric grime and NIKON to make it spot free.
I’m anal about glass cleanliness and shoot a lot of sports and wildlife which is by nature prone to atmospheric dust and grime far beyond that of a studio situation.
Beyond the issue of wipes, using a premium B+W filter on the front of any lens and keep the front element of the lens pristine.
Zeiss wipes and a 'Baby Nasal Aspirator" (snot bulb) from Walmart to blow off the lens. The bulb is cheaper and less bulky than the 'Rocket' type and fits easily into a pocket.
Also, no 'extra moisture particles' from using your lips to blow on the glass.

Definitely no spit on the lens/filter!
Spit will dissolve a porcelain coating in a short time.

Me too! They come in small packets all pre-moistened and ready for use. I keep a handful I my camera bag. I also do my eye glasses! ;)

Lens elements are a lot harder than most people realize.
I Think we can agree that glass lens elements are hard and durable. But we need to exercise care that we do not damage the special lens coatings manufacturers install to improve lens performance.

I spit on the idea of spitting on the filter or lens.
Been using the yellow microfiber towels for all my lenses and other devices purchased through Costco and have never had any issues. However, if one of these towels gets dusty or dirty, throw it away and use another. As washing these towels will subject the fibers to softeners/soaps used during washing which is not good for the lenses etc.
I use Zeiss wipes. Excellent. Buy mine from B&H.
