Yep. I’ve been in my present house for ten year and only seen them here once....lots of them.....around the lilac trees. Beautiful little creature.

Try hanging around the flowers a hummingbird would visit, but in late evening just before dark. That is when I see them. I have never seen one at my hummingbird feeders though.

I saw a lot of those when living in North Carolina. Lot of Hummers here in Utah, have yet to see the moth.

Nice shot. Those little rascals have been hanging around my patio flowers all summer this year. I've posted a topic with some images earlier this year. I actually got a picture with a hummingbird and a humming bird moth in the same frame, something I never expected. Good job.

Ravenna is not too far from Cleveland. Maybe Ohio is getting more these days.
