Of course it looks best in download mode.
Brent, for me "footprints in the sand" always create a story in my mind ... especially with waves creeping closer to them. As do figures of folks gazing "out of the picture frame." What are they looking at? The story that comes to mind today is that I think you cropped it a bit too much last time. I Like this composition better.
Truly a moment in time exceptionally well caught.
This is really nice. There is not just a potential story there; there are lots of potential story lines. If I were a better creative writer, I could have a field day with this photo’s connotations. Thanks for the post, as it’s making my imagination run wild.
Whatever the "story," it's a lovely image.

It reminds me of how precious life is over time and circumstance.........very compelling and attractive qualities Brent and it evokes a reflective awareness within me as I gaze upon it. That's what a great image is.....congratulations.

It's a different sort of pic - well produced - it is easy for the viewer to imagine (s)he is there - in fact I thought I heard the sound of the sea.
PS - did you get your feet wet?
Yes I did get my feet wet for the photo. There are several other magical photographs that I took on this photo shoot. Maybe I should post a few of them too! Thanks for your positive response to this image.
Oh Blair what a wonderful response to this image you have. I’m glad the photo can bring back memories for you along with the reflective awareness within you.

Please educate me, I never see stories in any type of art.
Do I make my own interpretive story?
How do I know if I'm right?
Is she telling the kid "This is where you'll wind up if you don't behave!"?
or "This is where we get our fish from."?
IMO, if that’s what you see, that’s the story.
There’s no right or wrong.
Honestly the first thing that came to my mind was: “I’m not sure how we got on this patch of sand surrounded by water but I think we’re in big trouble”😳

Thought so, because unless the photographer states something, different people will perceive a different story.

True. And even if the photographer states something, you or I may see something entirely different.
