Whether you think you need a new camera or not, you're right.

I want to buy another camera body and love my canon 77d. When I retired 2 yrs ago looked at other canons but this met my needs and price point. I cant find one refurbished and did a search for used. B and H, KEH, MPB, and Adorama. no stock left of that camera. I would buy a body only.
Abes of Maine comes up over and over but from reading here terrible reputation. Canon USA will repair grey market cameras. Does anyone know what tricks they pull. Over the years I've dealt with some shady NYC camera stories over my life until
B and H came along.
Abes price on new is hundreds dollars cheaper. I can resist hard sells but I've read somany bad stories and BBB gives them an F.
I'm happy with a used body but the price btw used body and new grey market not much.
Any other dealers to look into as the 77d just not available. Maybe canon coming out with a new model or they relying on the T8i replacing it. Thanks.

MPB will send you an email when a camera or lens comes in stock.
I have a Nikon D200, not interested in video. Have done fireworks, a solar eclipse and have not asked anything of it that did not turn out well. Why would I want to upgrade?
Put your name/email on a ‘tivvkler’ with B&H, Adorama, KEH & MPB...so that when one of them gets the exact camera you’re looking for, you get an E~Mail....BTW...did you chk with
www.procam.com? Based out of Michigan with offices in Ohio & Illinois..their used stuff is online via FaceBook...reputable dealer....I waited 6 months for a lens...referred to them...they had 2 in stock...same class of service as B&H & Adorama

I am certainly in the minority but I did business with Abe’s a year or so ago.
I dropped and destroyed my Canon 60D and wanted to purchase a 80D. Decided to risk the grey market.
Purchased one from Abe’s about $200 less than anywhere else. Next day they called and asked did I know it was grey market and I said I did. They asked me if I wanted to upgrade to non-grey market for $100 more. I said yes , received the camera for a price still below other retailers.
Now I realize I may have been sent a grey market anyway but I choose not to think so.
I did register the camera with Canon but I’m not sure that means anything.

'Legitimate' retailers can't undercut the manufacturer's listed prices, but will sometimes offer to include 'packages' of extra's for the same price. I got several hundred dollars worth of worthwhile extras with the last two cameras I purchased. If you check prices on B&H scroll down through the offers and you may find a package that includes the US version and enough extras to offset the difference in price between the US and Gray market versions.
On the other hand, several years ago I bought my A6000 and lens on a Black Friday sale on eBay for the lowest price I have ever seen. The clearly ad said it 'may' be gray market or may include a 'white box' lens from a two lens pack. I decided to take the risk. What I got was a brand new US Warranty body and lens that has served me well for several years.

No matter what you hear about Abe’s, run. Run Forest Run
I have done wonderful purchases at B&H. No complaint here.
Instead of a 77D think along the lines of an 80D. It has many similar feature plus you retain the muscle memory of a old camera.
I do have an interesting thought. If you would like a second body for that additional, you may be able to save by buying a TRI Lens holster. It holds three lenses and is belt worn so that three lenses are carried on one device.
Happy Shooting!

Time for a little trip to your nearest Bricks&boards camera shop, just to HANDLE all the great CANON options they can introduce you to. Make a new friend(the sales person at the shop)as well as picking their brain Then buy your choice there. The price will be barely different then buying through the mail( a less beneficial way to go these days) and Have a nice day!! On the shopping local endeavor.......................................RJM

Hi:
I have 2 Canon 5D Full Frame cameras in excellent condition. I would offer one of them to you for $400 body only with a battery and a battery charger, and a user manual in the original box. If you are interested send me a PM.
(I also have Canon 5D MIII which is my main camera and that is why I would like to sell one of the Canon 5D cameras.
Cameraman
Spent $869 for a lens, grey market . some deceptive advertising, returned lens got a ONE CENT refund and later was offered 50% refund . still ongoing through Amazon !! Beware .
There is a big difference between grey market and used !! you can get a used non grey market item repaired !!
you can get canon grey repaired at your cost. Cant get nikon repaired if grey market. Its still there product. glad im a canon guy. Some customer service there nikon. What would happen if I was traveling Europe and bought a new nikon? no us repair. WOW.
