I want to buy another camera body and love my canon 77d. When I retired 2 yrs ago looked at other canons but this met my needs and price point. I cant find one refurbished and did a search for used. B and H, KEH, MPB, and Adorama. no stock left of that camera. I would buy a body only.
Abes of Maine comes up over and over but from reading here terrible reputation. Canon USA will repair grey market cameras. Does anyone know what tricks they pull. Over the years I've dealt with some shady NYC camera stories over my life until
B and H came along.
Abes price on new is hundreds dollars cheaper. I can resist hard sells but I've read somany bad stories and BBB gives them an F.
I'm happy with a used body but the price btw used body and new grey market not much.
Any other dealers to look into as the 77d just not available. Maybe canon coming out with a new model or they relying on the T8i replacing it. Thanks.

I just did a quick search on ebay and amazon...both have this camera. I have bought almost all of my photography equipment off amazon and never have had issues. They sell used and refurbished too. Just make sure the seller states 30 day or more return policy. Some even have 60 day returns.

So, you want a second EOS 77D to have a pair? I thought initially I was shoot two cameras together. But honestly, it proved to be just too much gear. Before you get too far into Gear Acquisition Syndrome, consider your lens, tripod and computer needs rather than another body. The best source for used equipment is KEH.com, looking at the EX or EX+ rated items.

You seem to have answered your own question about Abes. I'll bet you can find used 77D on eBay or Amazon. I buy from there all the time with little troubles. But then I know what I am doing. You have to be careful. I pretty much only deal with sellers with >95% good rating. 99 to 100% is best and they exist. But I would be cautious of any sales of brand new in demand models unless they are from a known retailer or factory refurbs directly from Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc. Many brands rarely offer factory refurbs even on their own web site. But there are lots of good sources for Canon.

Canon has none in stocks, called the other day. Don't really need a lens and body only scarce. I'm not keen on buying used on ebay or Amazon from private seller. I will look and check.
