I was showing my wife the photo of the Tetons and she said I posted the wrong one!! She likes the second photo better so, bowing to her better artistic judgment, I'll post them both here and see if you agree with her. The winner will probably end up as a 16x20 metal print!

Number two is good --- number one is much better.

The Photo Expedition has had to be cancelled. Due to Covid Canada has closed its border, as if now through August 21st. Still do not know if I will even be able to make the trip next year as of now.
At least Nikon and Sigma have both told me there will be no request for me to return the donated gear.

Thanks for the update...Covid has turned the travel season upside down and who knows if it will ever recover.

My wife likes #2 but I prefer #1. I like foreground in landscapes but in this instance I think the tree draws my attention away from the majestic view. My wife totally disagrees. As for the the haloing, I did not see it at first but I do now. I’ve not only enjoyed your photos but learned something as well today.

Not many guys today want to tell their wives that they are mistaken. So I'll tell her for you. #1 is better. The Teton area is all about the mountains. You don't want to cover them up.

Thank you, cameraf4...I tell her we have different views and I had the camera, my choice!!

Many thanks for looking and commenting, it seems like the women like the foreground tree in the image and men like the wider view. Good to hear you enjoyed these photos and learned something to boot. I will go back and re-edit the photo if that is the one I print to tone it down a bit...just can't pick up the halo and don't think it would be noticeable in a 16x20 print. Thanks again for your input, Lagoonguy!!
