These are really beautiful, Mike. Do you ever do the "milky" water thing?

Thanks, Chief. I try to show what I see. Maybe sometime when I am going for artistic, I might go for the slower shutter.

Great shots Mike....love this time of year with the snowmelt....the sound and the sight of the rushing water....you captured it beautifully!

You can share my enthusiasm for the ability just to witness it. Sharing it with others is just a bonus.

Friday I drove up to the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon to check on the state of Albion Basin, the site of a great wildflower bloom every summer. We still have 2 to 4 weeks because the snow has not melted in the valley crease. I decided to stop on the way down to take some landscape shots (I will post these later).

I then discovered that the remaining snow was yielding a great downhill flow. The conditions were poor because it was mid-day. Many of my water shots were blown out (probably should have had a polarized filter).

The ones that I was able to salvage are attached to give an idea of the results of the continuing thaw.

Yes Mike, these are really good. You captured the water perfectly with the correct shutter speed.

I really like the sense of motion in the water. You didn't stop the motion, but you didn't blur it either. Excellent photos.
