So, you are saying you want to take advantage of a struggling company during a pandemic?

DON'T BE ABSURD. If they're selling the product at a reduced rate they are still making a profit and hoping for more sales to bolster their bottom line.

I have had some luck with Greentoe. Maybe 10% off listed prices. The kicker is no tax/ shipping as the transaction is not disclosed and looks like one-off private agreement. MPB and KEH are good resources too. Amazon warehouse shipped out a godox flash with broken lcd, flooded crystal in settings display. First bad experience with them.

Don't let the noise of other people's opinions stop you from buying the best camera.

Quite disgusting and stupid argunents are brought forward in responses tot the original post. Let me say this: if you want to help a business getting through this hard times, support them by paying a fair price to their products. Shame the shit out of you trying to steal the live-line from somebody drowning.
BTW: I'm happy being Dutch, where we take care of people in need.

OK, so I assume you have never paid the sale price for a product. You have alway said no, let me pay you the full price. Sound about right?

Obviously you are missing the point: you are hoping for the bottom price from somebody who is desparate. To be honest, I am most happy when buying from somebody who is happy to sell.

Actually it’s pretty clear you have no point. You’re all over the place with your ststements.

Rather, I think, trying to help a company survive is the reply.

Buying sale prices will NOT help a company survive.

The difference is that this is not an economic base slow down but a forced slow down of a hyper strong economy. Once the shut down is removed things will pick-up back to full steam and if you sold your stuff at a loss you would be screwing yourself having to then re-buy your equipment.
Unless you were ready to upgrade to something newer anyway and are using this as an opportunity to switch over.

Hyper Strong Economy!? You must be smoking Crack. We have not had anything resembling that since 1983.

That's YOUR point of view. Personally, as a business owner, the economy has never been better-UNTIL, this CCP virus bullshit. At least in the SE, we're moving forward from it.

Go back to sleep. EVERYONE has talked about the fantastic economy until covid-19 showed up.

Did you take economics 101 or were you sleeping in class? Unless an item is a "loss-leader" an item on sale still usually sells with a profit. Items being sold even during a pandemic at reduced prices still help the business to stay afloat.

Your logic is faulty. If they're selling the product at a reduced rate they are still making a profit and hoping to entice more sales to bolster their bottom line. Better to sell 500 items with a $1 profit than 10 items with a $10 profit each.
