In my opinion flowers should always be in color. But #1 is excellent. Nice work on both.

Image no 2 has more information in it--the subtle yellow just doesn't stand out in B&W.

I'm a big fan of B&W but in this case the color of the second image brings out the subtle details of both the flower and the bokeh background.
