You can get a version of capture1 for Fuji free. Try that.

Thanks. I believe it’s a 30 day free trial.

No it's not a trial. It's Capture One light (some features missing) but it's free to Fuji and Sony camera users. It won't process raw files from any other camera so it's RAF or ARW specific depending on the version you download. You have the option then to later upgrade ($$$$) to a Fuji/Sony specific Pro version or the full C1 Pro app.

by and large, it is good editing software. i especially like the sky replacement option.i still have to get a handle on landscape editing, night photography editing, wild life editing. Jim Nix and Anthony morganti through their videos do a pretty good job.

I've used the Luminar/Skylum products as a plug-in for Lightroom (and before that Aperture) for a while now and generally like it for what I use it for. Though I can't figure out the difference between Luminar 4 and Flex!

It would be good to hear if other people have a problem with the scroll bar widths and if so is there a solution.

Google "how to adjust the width of the scrollbar in windows 10" - there are several methods aside from the Registry that _might_ help.

I have Luminar 2018 and 4. Since I upgraded to 4 I was advised to delete 2018 but have not done so yet.
Im a little lazy so I have not taken the time yet to learn all about 4. So far I love Luminar and it plays so well with Lightroom Classic. That is where my photo catalog resides.

Just started using it. I had the previous versions. It's my main editing tool and easier than PS. Also cheaper and you don't have to rent it. Well worth the purchase.

I’m so glad this question was asked as I am in the process of deciding which software to try. I was all set to give LR a go when I came across a blog that mentioned Luminar. A question I have is I see many people use it in conjunction with LR. Is it a stand alone software as well?

From my experience, when I first installed Luminar 2018, I had intended it to be a plugin for LR but did not do it correctly. So Luminar 2018 was a stand alone. I contacted Skyum and they told me I had to get Luminar Flex. That is plug in Luminar 2018 for LR. So simple, no extra cost.

I am currently trying Luminar 4.1 on a 14 day trial. I must say, I am impressed with the user friendliness of the software. I am using it as a stand alone rather than a plugin.
I have played around with sky replacement and portrait enhancements, and both features perform better than expected. This is only my second day working with the program.
I am currently using DPP 4 from Canon to process raw files, however, did try Luminar with raw, and it did well.
I am using a Lenovo 720 with 630HD graphics, I7 quad core processor, and 8 mg ram. It appears to handle the program with little difficulty, however, I'm sure 16 ram and a higher level graphics card would improve the performance.

I have been using it for a month or so and really like the results. I have only scratched the surface of what it can do so I am excited to learn.
