New to photography, this is my first post. I have a few decent lenses. This picture is actually two images. The landscape was taken with a 200mm lens and the moon was taken with a 600mm lens and then reduced in size in post editing. With some help, the images were then merged in Photoshop. The location is a 3,000 acre ranch of pristine desert where many 1950/1960’s western movies were filmed on the outskirts of Tucson, AZ. For those a little older, remember the TV series 'High Chaparral'?

I am looking forward to moving up the photography learning curve (it’s a steep climb). Please feel free to critique my images.

There is nothing nicer than the sky in Tucson. Like your blended photo. I'm a desert rat

Thank you, Sam. I love the Sonoran Desert. The weather and sky the desert produces is amazing. There is no place like it.

Creative Image. You are off to a super start in image capture and post processing.

Thank you, Stan. It's a little intimidating to post on this forum. The photographic quality and creativity is amazing. It inspires and motivates me, however, to take a leap. It also appears to be a very friendly environment.
