That's not what Kathy says, but thank you! She was not an issued item! Remember that saying?

Yes I do. 782 gear was issued too but I have since learned to do without much of it.

Here's a tip while waiting by your mailbox for those checks to pour in:
1. Dress warm.
2. Take food.

And don't hold your breath

I kept having problems with lens caps until I found the Sensei brand at B&H. It's an all metal (aluminum?) lens cap, threaded to screw on instead of clip on. Now I never have the problem with the cap falling off.

I use lens caps with the string attached ( one end on the front of the cap, and the other end attached to an elastic band around the lens). Cap is always there, never lost.

visiting a forum from a couple weeks ago. think I found THE (at least ) an answer to the loose lens cap syndrome. Attached pic should be self explanitory.

minor stroke of genious if I do say so myself.
I'll be checking my mailbox for the checks.

I bought these and they work great: https://digitalgoja.com/5-pcs-altura-photo-lens-cap-keeper-holder-premium-magicfiber-cleaning-cloth.html

Rather than put the elastic band around the lens, I loop it to the camera strap where it attaches to the camera. The lens cap dangles, but it isn't an issue for me. I use it on my Canon 80D.
