I have read several posts lately about people getting cancer so I thought I would share the results from my recent checkup to maybe encourage a few members that are dealing with cancer. In July of 2016 I spent a month in the hospital at M.D.Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston. During that month I received chemo twice with the second round being very intense. I also had Stem Cell replacements during my stay. This week I went for my third yearly exam and was told that my test results and CT scan could not have been any better. Needless to say I am very happy with all of my results and thought I would share this positive information with those dealing with cancer in their lives. Bottom line is, have faith. be positive, and fight it, because it can be overcome.

Congratulations on your word of better health. Cancer is a terrible disease and I sympathize for anyone who has the disease of type. May you continue on in good health.

Congratulations Grandpaw!!! I know after losing My Wife to cancer how devastating this disease can be to families. I'm sure that your Family wants you around for a long, long time. God bless, pray and keep the faith.
Nothing like good news like this to start the day on a high note.

The idea of stem cell replacement is really very interesting to think about. I have many immune issues, I wonder if that could help me? Any suggestions on web sites? Congrats on your good news!!!!!!
Great news and a wonderful support word for other Cancer sufferers.

You might get in touch with M.D.Anderson Cancer Center in Houston or check them out on line. I have been told several times to stay away from researching with google or doing much research on line because you never know how accurate or current the information that pops up actually is. I was lucky in the fact that they were able to remove and use my stem cells so there was basically no chance of rejection. M.D.Anderson is the number one Cancer Center in the United States. It is VERY BIG and if you go over there the doctor that would be handling your case specializes in the type of cancer you have. I cannot say enough good things about going there. I personally think they are outstanding in what they do, how they do it, and the attitude they have dealing with their patients.
