My son is just coming off this same scenario from this last fall and spring (non-Hodgkins lymphoma). He gets his second scan in a week or so; so far, so good after the stem cell replacement. Good luck to him and congrats to you!

Wishing for a lot of great reports👍👍
Mine was non Hodgkin Lymphoma also.

I have read several posts lately about people getting cancer so I thought I would share the results from my recent checkup to maybe encourage a few members that are dealing with cancer. In July of 2016 I spent a month in the hospital at M.D.Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston. During that month I received chemo twice with the second round being very intense. I also had Stem Cell replacements during my stay. This week I went for my third yearly exam and was told that my test results and CT scan could not have been any better. Needless to say I am very happy with all of my results and thought I would share this positive information with those dealing with cancer in their lives. Bottom line is, have faith. be positive, and fight it, because it can be overcome.

I too went to MD Anderson for lung cancer ... they are fantastic! 4 chemo treatments with absolutely NO SIDE EFFECTS!!!!!! I opted for radiation to insure it didn't come back and it made me a bit weak (3 weeks of "precision radiation). It's been over 5 years now. If you get cancer, MDA is the ONLY place to go. Mass General in Boston and Mayo are also rated highly. Cleveland Clinic can treat cancer but admit they are not as well "tuned" as the top three. Good luck and health!!!

Congratulations, hope you stay clear. Wife just finished her chemo and we are still dealing with the effects. She also appears to be in the clear. Thank the good Lord.

I have had many chemo treatments and they had ZERO side effects on me. I am lucky I guess but you could talk to me during the chemo or after and you would't have any idea I had ever had the treatment done.
