Does anyone have experience with both KEH and MPB? I am wondering which company has the more honest grading on their used equipment. I am looking to buy a lens and one company's Ex+ is more than the other's LN.

In my opinion you really can't go wrong with KEH, (unfamiliar with MPB). You might also want to check Used Camera Pro from Roberts Camera in Indianapolis. Never a complaint with them.

Roberts Used Photo Pro is excellent - as is B&H. Have done business with both for years.

I have purchased used items from both KEH and MBP as well as from B&H Photo. Have found all three to rate gear reliably. If you are selling gear, KEH might be a bit more strict with their ratings, but I haven’t found the difference to be major overall.

I have found that mpb.com gives a better price than the other buyers for your gear.
I have bought and sold with them several times with no problems.
They are good to deal with and respond quickly in communications with them.
They will email you prepaid shipping label for things you are selling to them and give free shipping on things you buy from them.

It's not on the OPs list, but I have bought 4 used lenses from Adorama.com (Nikon 1.4x III teleconverter and 50mm f/1.4G, Tamron 85mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/1.8. I have been very happy with the quality of the items I received as I could not tell the difference from new on the demo, E+, and E rated gear. I like their terms including their return policy.

They previewed the list of items before sending and offered me $694.
Most were old film cameras and one decent Nikon prime. All old.
They looked at the gear and sent me an approval.
I accepted and they payed to my PayPal immediately on demand.
One surprise was I sent old film camera bodies. They didnt pay much
for those but the Nikon FM2 got $220.
I think I read their claim as the largest buyer and seller of used camera
gear.

I have bought and sold with MPB and have been impressed with their service - I sold a lens with them and I put the quality down as good and they upgraded it to excellent.
I have also part exchanged a camera body for a more expensive model and I thought the deal was fair, and they're very quick to answer any questions.

I’ve bought from and sold to mpb and have been satisfied each time. The company’s grading has been fair and accurate. I’ve also bought Nikon refurbished from Adorama and have been happy with the quality and condition of the items.

I have used MPB several times, they are very good to deal with and the items they sell are accurately graded, delivery is very quick, also the prices for used items are more than acceptable.
