The segment was amazing. I found myself wishing it was longer. Really inspired me to be more patient in my shooting. It was also extremely disturbing that so many people were eager to kill that bear! Sorry it died from a vehicle accident but happy some fool didn't bag it for a rug or wall ornament.

If you are referencing 399, she is alive and well. She was spotted by a friend of mine yesterday. If you are speaking about the bear mentioned in the TED talk , it was 399's cub that was struck by a car in 2017. The erroneous post of 399 being killed is false and it stems from people not listening to the presentation carefully. Be assured that The Grande Lady is alive.
