That’s great for charity. I am letting this go for much less. Offers accepted in The $2,000,000 or less range

I wonder how many guitars he owns? All of the articles I read on the auction all said he sold 126 guitars, for $21,490,750, all of which is to be donated to the charity ClientEarth.

“The Black Strat”—will it ever be seriously played again?

I didn't know who David Gilmore was so I Googled him. First thing I discovered was it's David Gilmour, not Gilmore - unless we're talking about two different people. The other thing, he was a member of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd, that explains it. Wasn't a fan of Pink Floyd or any progressive rock bands.

OK. I listened to something by Pink Floyd called "Hey You" from an album named "The Best of Pink Floyd: A Foot in the Door". If that's an example of the "best" of Pink Floyd I can see why I'm not a fan. But if you are, more power to you. There is a boat load of singers, musicians and bands I like so I think I will stick with them.

That is fine—I am not trying to sell anything.
But, if you want to understand, listen to “Dark Side of the Moon” (1973) from beginning to end. That is Pink Floyd. You will probably not be impressed, but it will help define the music.
The album has sold over 45 million copies because it is pretty good.

Comfortably Numb for pure Gilmour.
