Comfortably Numb for pure Gilmour.

If you don't get a rush when the solo to Comfortably Numb starts, check your pulse.

I saw Mahogany Rush at California Jam 2 - - back in the day.
It was a Rush. Unfortunately - Pink Floyd was NOT there.

I didn't know who David Gilmore was so I Googled him. First thing I discovered was it's David Gilmour, not Gilmore - unless we're talking about two different people. The other thing, he was a member of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd, that explains it. Wasn't a fan of Pink Floyd or any progressive rock bands.

The guitar that David Gilmour sold which proceeds go to the charity ClientEarth is remarkable. I would like to photograph Mr David Gilmour signing that Black Stratocaster. As for the music of Pink Floyd, few understand the meaning of the lyrics. But that is okay! Every time I hear a song from Pink Floyd, I'm back in High School. WOOOSH! Very few understand the naming of the band. Attributed to a band member who passed away. Syd Barrett. That is what the meaning of Shine On You Crazy Diamond is about. The photographer who worked the album covers was Storm Thurgerson. A true photo genius. He too passed away. David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright made a great group for what it was. Even if you don't know about the group, the lyrics are hard to follow, the music is behind you, the album covers are confusing, and some of the key people have passed away, you should give a round of applause to a man who puts money where his mouth is! They even recorded noted physicist Stephen Hawkins' voice for the song Keep Talking. Even if you have never listened to the Dark Side Of The Moon paired with the Wizard Of Oz classic movie, this is a true inspiration for us humble photographers.
