Maybe they are visiting a loved one and placing flowers on her grave and saying a prayer for her. Why would you take issue with that?

Seems like a very strange comment to make about people perhaps visiting a cemetery. As others have said, they sure don't look old to me. And having just visited New Orleans last May, there is a very interesting, famous cemetery there that draws quite a few people daily. They certainly look young enough to get out and about and enjoy their day and, probably, their vacation. Furthermore, as others have also said, I find old cemeteries to be fascinating glimpses into the past.

And they are visiting a cemetery in New Orleans? Are they nuts? I would tell them to get a life, but it looks like theirs is pretty much spent. The last thing I would want to do at that age would be to visit a cemetery.. no matter how famous it may be.

Shows a disrespect for seniors. If you're not there now, you will be; and sooner than you think.

Your statements are cruel and certainly unwarranted. You don't know them ar for what reason they are there.
Shame on you!

One does not see one’s self in a cemetery looking up at dirt.

Cemeteries are our last attempt at immortality. They are great history, however.

Depends on where you are looking FROM. They don’t look very old to me. Grey Hair is no longer a sign of old age. More telling is problems with posture, energy level and mobility.
Also, as you get older you get accustomed to the idea of death and get used to visiting cemeteries to either say goodby or to visit Friends.
Yeah, I had grey hair when I was 16. These people were actual on a tour of the cemetery. I am not looking forward to the days when one starts losing friends. I could be one of those friends.

New Orleans has very interesting cemeteries that you don’t see elsewhere. I have been and would definitely go back. By not going you would miss some great photo opportunities. We have some civil war cemeteries that people worldwide come to see. The tombstones are very interesting. I have a cemetery close by that a lot of people use to walk or ride bikes in, no traffic. 😀 Try not to limit yourself
My wife and I walked through that cemetery. It was quite interesting. I would have loved have had the time to visit one of the civil war cemeteries.

The Mt Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Ma is one of the best places for bird photography in the area. Spring is magnificent there as well.
I used to go by there on the way to work everyday.

They may be doing genealogy research. A lot of us old farts now have the time to think of our origins and lineage and try to fill out those time lines with names, dates, location, etc.

Nope. They were there for the tour.

Maybe they prefer their company to a whole lot of the assholes that are above ground these days. You might think a lot different if you live to " that " age.
Unfortunately, I am closing in.

As I stated to an earlier response; they were there for a guided tour.
