Just cause there's snow in the roof don't mean the fire is out.
Just having some fun. Those folks were actually waiting for the tour of the cemetery.

Depends on where you are looking FROM. They don’t look very old to me. Grey Hair is no longer a sign of old age. More telling is problems with posture, energy level and mobility.
Also, as you get older you get accustomed to the idea of death and get used to visiting cemeteries to either say goodby or to visit Friends.
New Orleans has very interesting cemeteries that you don’t see elsewhere. I have been and would definitely go back. By not going you would miss some great photo opportunities. We have some civil war cemeteries that people worldwide come to see. The tombstones are very interesting. I have a cemetery close by that a lot of people use to walk or ride bikes in, no traffic. 😀 Try not to limit yourself
The Mt Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Ma is one of the best places for bird photography in the area. Spring is magnificent there as well.
They may be doing genealogy research. A lot of us old farts now have the time to think of our origins and lineage and try to fill out those time lines with names, dates, location, etc.

And they are visiting a cemetery in New Orleans? Are they nuts? I would tell them to get a life, but it looks like theirs is pretty much spent. The last thing I would want to do at that age would be to visit a cemetery.. no matter how famous it may be.
Maybe they prefer their company to a whole lot of the assholes that are above ground these days. You might think a lot different if you live to " that " age.
