Anoth quik option might be a rolling cooler. Most coolers are build to double as a seat.

Please, the smartass answers I can do without. I am reaching the age where carrying even a small bag is taking all the joy out going for a short walk along the fence lines. I find that no matter what camera and lens I take with me there will be a once in a lifetime shot that I have the wrong lens for. So if I had a bag with wheels I could drag along the extra lens, as far as the seat goes, this area in the last couple of years was crawling with ticks so I can't see myself setting in the grass trying to get a good Macro shot. I was just looking through the latest Photo news and I seen a picture of a camera bag with wheels, so maybe a seat is not to much to ask for. Thanks in advance. REJ.

While not actually a camera bag. Check figure skating suppliers. I shoot a lot of hockey and spend a lot of time in rinks. I see a lot of figure skaters with what looks like a “carry on” suitcase with rollers that has a seat. The suitcase could easily be fitted with foam inserts and separators.

Same here, attached a wooden box to the foot and then a "U" shaped fixture at the height of the folded tripod top up on the handle of the frame, then used a bungee chord to secure it and the umbrella with stand. The box early carries all the extra equipment. A neighbor donated a foldable dove hunting stool with insulated bag hanging under the cloth seat (bungeed this onto the carrier) that holds my lunch . The air in the tires is reduced to match the load and the box and upper fixture are lined with an inch thick layer of soft foam material.

Rube Goldberg would be proud!

My family got me a folding camp stool from Amazon. I love it I can carry it or strap like / or with my tripod on my camera bag. My bag is very heavy also but I manage so far.

Looking at all the responses, and without a concrete product in mind, I think you will have better success locating a sturdy collapsible seat with wheels that will permit toting a bag or storage.

At that point, the only things to consider are attaching sturdier wheels (not that it isn’t viable, but it kills the rolling cooler concept) and reliably adapting (think foam inserts) and attaching something for storage. You might have to compromise on the storage, but attaching may require little more than sewing skills.

Many rolling walkers have seats, and a majority of them have storage bags under those seats. They come in different sizes, have appropriate size wheels for varied terrains, and are a lot cheaper than camera bags. Quality and durability are both generally very good.

The only disadvantage I can think of is the storage spaces are generally modest in size.

That is what I was thinking. Just attach a bag your desired size to the current walkers.

Another idea adapt a “golf caddy with seat” to hold your gear Google it- I couldn’t attach a photo

I have a garden wagon that doubles as a stool ( but it is low enough that it can be hard to stand up again) cost about $50 has some dividers and a removable tray that is part of the seat support

Here are four photos of my roller camera bag with seat. The last photo shows the roller bag with my stand alone camera gear backpack on the seat.
It started as a roller bag with a seat. I added a heavier axel with larger wheels and replaced the bag with a National Geographic Society Photographers backpack. I can carry a whole lot of stuff in it. The other bag is a top of the line Pro Master photographers hiking backpack. It will hold a couple bodies and three or four lenses and accessories and is quite comfortable.

Possibly check online for golf bag carts with seats. Might be able to make some modifications to work for you. Will probably want something with larger wheels since they roll better especially over terrain.

Your reply made my old brain start working, many years ago I bought a two wheel dolly for carrying hay bales around the farm, I still got that and a little bit of welding I will have a seat and I have a backpack that can be strapped to the dolly, I think it will solve my problem. Many thanks for all the reply's. REJ.

Rej...I would think walking in fields along fence lines would make it more tiring, pulling a wheeled cart, than just taking a back pack and helper to help get it on and is if needed. That way you can use a walking stick/monopod.. And the back pack would allow you to carry a tripod.

Ticks, you will get just walking. You don't have to sit or lie down on the ground.

I just went to Shell creek in San Luis county to view/photograph wild flowers in the fields (photos posted later when I get a chance). No way could I pull a cart. My backpack worked great though. A sling bag would even be better I think.

I also use a vest that holds 2 cameras with different lenses. One for landscape and one for close ups.

Just some other easy way ideas.

Take a look at this one; Zuca Navigator Expandable Rolling Suitcase with Built-In Seat, Charcoal Gray Bag in Black Frame, 52L Capacity on Amazon

A DIY build might be the answer, a sturdy frame around a "large as you require and is feasible" camera gear bag with a seat and handle. Sounds like an excellent DIY challenge, I'll have to look into framework potential. What is your approximate size and weight, just for calculations sake?

Great possibilities for a DIY build with one of those!
