Thanks very much, Pixie. I think you would like Topaz DeNoise. It does a wonderful job with noisy photos.

These birds were all shot using the Canon 100-400. I shoot my birds in shutter priority (TV) mode with my shutter speed usually set on at least 400. Since I'm shooting mainly out a window, I set my ISO on at least 1,000 depending on the light outside the window. Any resulting noise is eliminated using Topaz DeNoise.

Coming from someone who likes to take bird photos too, I'd say you did a beautiful job. Very nice photos! I am impressed with the job Topaz DeNoise did...I have been wondering about it. Looks to me like it does a great job.

I just got home today from being out of town for nearly two weeks. The bird feeders were empty and no birds around at all.

I filled the feeders, water bowl and bird bath and even threw seed on the ground, but am thinking it may take a few days for them to come around again.

Am very much looking forward to their return! :-)

Again, excellent photos you took Dixiegirl! Hope you enjoyed your holidays and blessings to you.
