Browsers.....
I am searching for the perfect browser for my internet adventures. I feel as if I've been let down.
IE9: somewhat stable but chokes on the new facebook photo viewer.
IE10: works like a charm on the new facebook photo viewer but chokes on other websites from time to time. It is a preview release. Can't play facebook games with IE10.
Laugh if you want to--I used to be a hardcore Sacred Underworld/Sacred Fallen Angel player. Now my gaming consists of Angry Birds and facebook games.
Firefox: latest version has a horrible text rendering issue that makes it all but impossible for me to read(perhaps my eyes have the issue) None of the suggested fixes work.
Chrome: seems to work but the random lockups....
Opera: I love the integrated email client. Does freeze up often.
What are you guys having success with?

How much memory are you using? More is better.
Wasn't able to upload pics to UHH till I used Google Chrome, which seems to work fine in all other respects as well.
Don't forget that some of your lockups may be due to your broadband connection.

You've summed it up perfectly: nothing works perfectly. I've tried others, and I'm back with IE9.
Didn't see fastbrowser.net

Have you tried, to enlarge the page, control and plus (+)?
Does your computer have enough RAM so you can play "games"?
My computer, pretty fast when I built it, is showing its age now.
Jetway Hummer mainboard
2.6 Ghz Athlon II X2
4 gb gaming ram
Radeon 4670 videocard IGB onboard RAM.
Laughable specs by today's standards, but I played S2 at max settings.

I often use EI and firefox at the same time. seems to work for me.
Gotta vote for Chrome, not one hiccup yet. Put it on as Firefox was slowing down.
100% Google Chrome from me as well. If I had a choice, IE would not even be installed on my computer. I do get a lock up maybe once in 500 openings of Chrome. Shows your downloads, less ram, less hard drive space. All pluses to me.

I have been a fan of Chrome for years and still am, but lately since I now use Windows 8 which has IE10 built in I find my self using IE10 mostly. I would say they are as good as each other!!
Have a look at Comodo Ice Dragon
someone should make a browser for gamers ~ my wife uses firefox and Chrome for games. It freezes and crashes too !
Me , I have firefox , Safari , google chrome and opera and I don't do games. I let my kids use safari , my grandkids use google chrome and my opera is private ! Firefox , is what I'm using now . That way my stuff is still in order and it doesn't get messed up from others using it !
