I predict the Supreme Court will overturn the Colorado decision to remove Trump from the 2024 b****t.

Exactly who are you referring to, and what office are they holding.

There are several GOP members in the House and Senate which fit your description of an i**********nist holding an office right now!

He is not an i**********nist until charged and convicted, which is never going to happen. Just because all the liberals say it, doesn't make it true.

What part of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment states that a conviction is required to keep an i**********nist from holding an office?

You've been listening to trump's lawyer's propaganda for way too long.

Think this through. If you were stupid enough to attempt to use an amendment penned to keep confederate officers from running for federal office, you would have to have some type of federal trial to determine guilt (Kind of like Trump's 2nd impeachment and acquittal). The guilt of the confederate officers was determined by the terms of the surrender.

If there's not a trial to determine i**********n, what's to keep ANY state from declaring ANY candidate guilty of "i**********n" and removing them from their b****t. Florida could keep Biden off the b****t at a whim, denying him a sizable chunk of the popular v**e. You can't have state AGs arbitrarily playing with the b****ts for federal offices.

Trump has not been charged or convicted of being an issurrectionist. Until such time as that may happen , Section 3 of the 14th Amendment does not apply. Just because you liberals say it does, doesn't make it so. Accusations mean nothing.

Please re-read the posts above this. What you are suggesting is unrealistic and impossible. You are really suggesting that every P**********l candidate has to be "authorized or allowed" to run by each and every state? That's not political? Wow. What rock are living under? Can you imagine the red tape you would have to navigate to get on all 50 + DC primary b****ts? Again wow.

What if one state does not allow it? Does that invalidate that person from running? How about two? Who gets to draw that line?

You should be working in DC. You'd make a great bureaucrat.

Actually every candidate must meet criteria to be placed on a state primary b****t. The bare bones minimum criteria include these two.

Gathering a sufficient number of signatures.

Meeting the application deadline.

The act of i**********n, an uprising against the government, vs. someone simply declaring any individual as an i**********nist without the act of i**********n is what makes your comment a joke.

Did you forget that Colorado DID hold a trial to determine that 1. J****** 6, 2021 was an i**********n. And 2. The Colorado Supreme Court did determine that trump was an i**********nist.
