[quote=AndyBob]They seem to be on a trajectory to attempt an overtake of Amazon. But, are their products any good?
Price, price, price.
That seems to be all that so many people are concerned with. Well, put me in the basket of deplorables with the other conspiracy theorists, but I'm not installing a Chinese app directly onto my phone, which I'm convinced gives them total access to everything on there.
I tried to go to a website to look/shop, but all I get are links to download their app. And lots of ads on other websites I go to, but click on any of them, and my only option is to download the app. NO THANK YOU!
Yeah, Walmart and Amazon are carrying many of the same cheap Chinese products for a bit more cost, but at least I feel a bit more insulated from Chairman Xi.
Items that I bought were pure crap. Much more difficult to return items to Temu than to Amazon. They asked for photographs showing thd problems. I discarded those items, absorbed the loss and will never buy from Temu again.

I realize most are probably manufactured in China (or similar), and I suspect they are sub-par, but haven't bought any, or know of anyone who has. My question, have you? What has your experience been? Is the tool that costs $20 at Harbor Freight worth the $2.50 TEMU charges.
They are a SPAM Sending Machine!!!

I have never downloaded their app., and I always ignore the $100 spin of the wheel. My orders are always accepted.

I read a few articles about Temu. I stay far away from them and I recommend that to anyone who is thinking about using them.
It’s a Chinese company who main interest is gathering as much information about you as possible. They offer cheaply made, low priced products in order to capture your credit card information and other data on you like your address and spending habits.
My niece is hooked on them despite my informing of of ulterior motives.
I would definitely suggest you do a search for Temu on Bing or Duck Duck Go.
I NEVER use Google because they collect similar data from you.
I will that I do use a couple of Google products that I just can’t do without. WAZE, and Words with Friends.
That’s my 2¢.
I don't buy from them due to cyber security issues with them and a couple of other CCP firms.

DON'T TOUCH THEM. They will send barrages of offers all day and night (really) Products are unusual, esoteric, inane, and "who needs this" type of "crappola". Lowest prices in town (L,A,)
You don’t have acknowledge the “barrage”
I’ve made about a dozen purchases…nothing over $20…all good.
Two questions:
1 - Those of you that have written favorable comments, aren't you concerned about the Chinese app you have to install in order to do business with TEMU?
2 - Can't our software experts determine exactly what the TEMU app does in our devices?

I didn't have to install an app. to do business, if I that had been a condition I wouldn't have made my first purchase.
I read a review on them that made me side-step them altogether. In the review it stated that Temu steals info from your computer - like all your contacts.
I have purchased over 20 times with Temu. I think they are great. If you are unhappy with the item they accept the return and pay the postage. They have very little photo gear. However I have a strap coming. Start small and see how it goes.

I don't have contacts on my computer

No personal experience with Temu but my daughter has practically become addicted to them! She has her items shipped to my address since she's not home a lot and I receive items two or three times a week she has ordered. She seems very pleased with her purchases and has also returned, (with no problem), several items she wasn't satisfied with so they seem to be pretty decent and easy to deal with.
Just my two-cents worth,
God Bless,
