They seem to be on a trajectory to attempt an overtake of Amazon. But, are their products any good? I realize most are probably manufactured in China (or similar), and I suspect they are sub-par, but haven't bought any, or know of anyone who has. My question, have you? What has your experience been? Is the tool that costs $20 at Harbor Freight worth the $2.50 TEMU charges.

If you google Temu you will find out more about it. In looking at it, I would say spend a little bit more
money and you stand a better chance of getting what you buy. A rating of 2 out of 5 stars says a lot
about Temu.

I have made several purchases from TEMU and have been satisfied. I have not purchased any photo equipment and most of the things are very inexpensive items. It takes about 2 weeks to get merchandise, and if they do not get it to you by the promised date they give a $5 credit. I use PayPal to pay for stuff so they do not have my credit card info. Let’s not delude ourselves… most of the things purchased from Amazon and other sources originated in China also.

If all the things that were manufactured in China were removed from United States, our country would not have very many tools, or most of anything that is called houseware

I have purchased from TEMU over twenty times, and am satisfied with about 95% of the items. I have not ordered any item costing more than about $20. Recent purchase of 18650 Li-ion battery cells, rated at 3500 mAh only measured about 750 mAh (21%). When I reported that TEMU credited my account immediately and told me to keep or dispose of the cells. The cost was so low I was sure the capacity was not as stated, and would have been satisfied with anything over 1500 mAh, but not 750 mAh. As always, be cautious when dealing with Chinese suppliers, they have a reputation for dishonesty. But, TEMU does seem to be quick with refunds if not satisfied.

It is entertaining just looking at the many thousands of items they list. Like walking through the worlds largest dollar store. and, from time-to time there are some real bargains. ENJOY IT!

I have not bought any photo equipment on Temu but have bought fishing equipment. So far, I have been satisfied. The identical rods I purchased were sold on Amazon and Bass Pro for about 20% more. The reels I bought were sold at Wal-Mart for 40% more. Before buying these items I checked prices first.

I have made many purchases from TEMU and so far I haven't been unsatisfied. I have bought fishing equipment, and everything was just fine and my favorite reel came from Aliexpress, I like it over my expensive equipment. I have also bought some clothes but you have to be careful about size but the quality has been as good or better than anything you would find at Walmart. I have night vision binoculars from TEMU that are simple great. I just received a small (9 inch)stainless steel skillet that was only $20 that compares to my $90 Made In skillet. I have bought a very limited amount of photo items from both TEMU and Aliexpress and I have had good luck with them. Just be careful and check out the seller first. Living in a small community far away from any major stores other than Walmart and the big box who get much of their items from China and other 3rd. world countries so I might as well cut out the middleman.

I've purchased a few times and the items arrived on time and were up to par. They have a set delivery guarantee and will refund your charge $5.00 if they are late. My second order could not be delivered on time because I had put a hold on the mail at the post office. They notified me they were refunding me $5.00. I immediately told them it was my action of having the mail held. They thanked me for my honesty, but they had already applied the refund and were not going to charge me again.

They are selling at a loss to wipe out Amazon, Walmart and any other company. Everyone is going to have to work a little harder to keep in business. Maybe everyone will survive and we will have more choices.

DON'T TOUCH THEM. They will send barrages of offers all day and night (really) Products are unusual, esoteric, inane, and "who needs this" type of "crappola". Lowest prices in town (L,A,)

I have bought a number of things from them. Fishing flies are a mix of quality, some are very good and some less so. The fly boxes are excellent and the price is right. I got some art pencils and there was one missing, they sent me a complete new set instead of just replacing the one that was missing. I got a fountain pen that is as good as any that I have owned (I have also gotten a number of fountain pens on Ebay that were excellent. I make jewelry and got some stones that were not the size that was advertised. I have not purchased any clothes but a friend reports that they are decent. For the price of many items I am willing to take the chance and I always go through PayPal with them.

Their small tools seem to be worth the money, and they are usually prompt with the shipping.

Bought something from them, it was adequate and inexpensive, (filter step-up adapter). Since then, (2 months ago) I delete at least 5 ads from them daily.

Does deleting ads hurt?
I delete the ads in one click

So far in this thread more people are buying from Temu than not. So to answer the OP I think Temu may replace Amazon some day and our friend jerryc41 will be their regular customer like he is with Amazon now. Of course by that time the prices are not as low as they are now and they may charge a fee like Amazon Prime now.
