I put dozens of things in my cart all the time. I don't buy all of them but leave them in the cart just like Amazon's lists. If you do that,one of the barrage ads you mentioned, usually turns out to be a price reduction! I've made some great deals by leaving stuff in the cart then they mark them down.

I don't use the MS Edge browser. When I use Google Chrome to access UHH, I'm bombarded with TEMU ads. When I use Firefox, no TEMU ads. I get an occasional email, usually notifying me about the status of an order. I never use my phone to order anything and never give out my credit card number. PayPal with 2 factor authentication seems to be a pretty safe way to order things online. I don't know about their other products but the $5 t-shirts I've received seem to be OK. (and some are pretty funny)

That may explain why I'd never heard of them before this thread. I use Firefox exclusively except when I have to access my medical info as that site seems to dislike Firefox for whatever reason.

I have purchased several things from Temu and have been satisfied with the quality. HOWEVER - I did buy a drone from them that had multiple cameras on board. The drone was OK and seemed tow work fine, BUT the software to connect and the phone (works with a cell phone) required that I register my name, email address, and other personal information with the Chinese government. No way!!! I sent the drone back and they immediately sent me a refund. Satisfied with Temu so far.
