My late wife used to use glycerin and water to get rid of pest on her tomatoes, was not 100% successful but took care of a lot of them

Buy some Neem Oil. You can dilute it and put it in a spray bottle. I had some on my California Giant Zinnias last year. It decimated them in 24 hours.........PS IT'S ORGANIC

Addendum......My zinnias were actually overrun with those SOBs. One good heavy spray of them literally wiped them out. I would try that first before I went into some big ritual. The next day there were just a few stragglers stumbling around. It doesn't kill them on contact. it coats the leaves and poisons them the beetles when they eat them.

Chemical Warfare is always my answer, being careful not to contaminate the surrounding area.

We had a JB infestation in our rose plants in California some years ago, and a gardener told us tonged some white 5 gallon plastic buckets from the paint store. By putting about 2-3 inches of water in the buckets mixed with several capfuls of dish soap and setting the open buckets near the plants, within two days we had literally buckets-full of drowned dead beetles. Seems the beetles think those big round white things are flowers and fly right in and as soon as thy bump into the bucket they fall into the soapy water and drown. After two days… no more beetles. We used those same buckets for several seasons withe the same results. I thought it was amazing because it not only worked, but also because the beetles never did learn to avoid the buckets! Once the infestation is done just remove the buckets and save them for the next season.🤓

Great shot of that pesky little invader! Sounds like you have a number of options to try(not sure if RCPO has a line on those mini nukes..) but the rest seem plausible and won't get you a visit from the ATF/Homeland Security... :-)

Neem oil. I believe that is what it is called. My brother had them last year in his vegetable garden. Looked it up on google back then. Not harmful to the plants or...
