They are trying to change the lyrics to O Canada again. They are trying to change "our home and native land" to "our home ON native land" I guess Canadians don't have a native land. Certainly doesn't feel like it at times.
There is also talk at the federal level of paying "rent" to the aboriginal groups. That was already supposed to be happening according to the native treaties, but hasn't happened since the 1900s.

I've caught up. There is a bunny hopping around the back yard right where the bird feeders are located. I'm guessing she is waiting for sunflower seeds.

I think that is what the federal government is calculating. Whether to pay in 1900's money (which they might be able to do) or today's equivalent (which would bankrupt the government).😵
