Thank you, NRA, GOP, just another day and another mass shooting in America. Where was the good guy with the gun? Do you really not understand that the person slaughtered could have been your loved one,
maybe your child?

Update: 9 dead

So dumb, you are only creating the argument for more guns in public places. Had there been one or two or more good guys with a gun they could’ve took this person down possibly.

Suppose you are the target, you are one of the good guys with a gun. The offender shoots you in the back. Did carrying a gun prevent you from an early journey into the after world? How many more could the offender have shut down before he was taken out by a good guy? How many innocent people will be hit by 'friendly' fire from good guys? Will the good guys see the difference between a bad guy and another good guy or even an officer out of uniform? I bet the number of casualties will only grow. You might be trained to handle a gun, but that won't do. I could give you more examples why it's a bad idea to bring more guns in public places and let civilians take over from the professionals...

That's not the solution...Why is it people have such a short temper? Why do these things happen so often in your country? Think about that. I think I might have the answer but not being part of your society I think it's best to remain silent...

Dumb argument, for one I would not have open carry but concealed firearm. Also, there is a much better chance of the shooter being taken down by an armed citizen than if there are no armed citizens in the vicinity. Your argument makes no sense, you are implying that no armed citizen would be just as ineffective as an armed citizen that could take down the bad guy. The rest of your thoughtless argument is just pure ignorance.

Unfortunately, the Democrat party itself is the biggest argument AGAINST laws prohibiting assault rifles. And if you don't get my argument, you're a few brain cells short of any sort of intelligence. It's WHY we have the 2nd Amendment.

There is a far less possibility to get shot down in an environment where arms in public areas are not allowed.
Statistics don't lie...The problem has grown so huge in the US, you're not going to control this in near future. Thanks 2nd amendment, thanks NRA, thanks (bribed) politicians !!! Follow the money...

I agree that there is far less chance of getting shot in a gun free environment. Just like this less chance of drowning if there is no water around. Your argument doesn’t work here in the US because we do have guns. Although I wish that were not the case.

Taking a person down has a lot of legal liabilities attached and someone may take you down thinking you are also a bad guy because you have a gun in your hand.

The extremists in this group will continue to "claim" that "IF more people carried guns"... but, as proven over and over again, that's BS.

The latest shooting was in ALLEN, TEXAS... 9 people dead. It's being reported that this shooter was simply walking through the mall, shooting at people. AGAIN, this was in TEXAS... the land where babies are born with a gun at their side.... and not one single private citizen took out their gun to protect themselves OR their loved ones.

Not only Texas, Yesterday there was a shooting in California where 6 people were shot and 1 k**led and one in Mississippi where 6 were shot and one k**led also. These shootings have become so common that they were hardly reported. There are over 400 Million guns out there. If that is not enough to stop this shooting epidemic what will be enough?

How ignorant of you to blame this on the NRA and GOP. Do you have any evidence that the shooter was a Republican? How about Democrat? No, of course you don’t. You are simply displaying a typical left wing knee jerk reaction to a tragic situation.

Yup! It is becoming fashionable, people living useless lives going out with a bang, too bad that they don't start their shooting sprees with a bullet to their own head.
