Preference: Color or B/W

Photo was taken in Rockport, Maine Harbor. Originally shot in color and then did some B/W conversions.Which do you prefer?

I am a big fan of black and white, but in this instance I prefer the color. As an added thought, you might not apply so much vignetting to the b&w.

I vote for the color. I am guessing that the colors are what attracted you to the scene and not lines, textures and details that would benefit from B&W.

I like them both in this case, except I could do without the heavy vignetting on the B&W.

Rockport is in Massachusetts, not Maine. Located on the Cape Ann peninsula. The picture is well photographed fish shack / lobster shack.

I would think that radiomantom might know where he took his photo. There happen to 8 Rockport's in the US. Texas, Mass., Maine, Indiana, W. Virginia, Kentucky Washington and Illinois. Just so you know in the future.

There's a Rockport, Maine also, been through it a bunch of times, but I couldn't easily match the photo to either location using the aerial Google maps.
Do you maybe have a Lat/Lon for this location?
Edit: I did find what looks like the red building in Rockport, MA - Look at Motif #1 on the satellite view of the harbor map.
