It took a while to realise that it was coconut. I usually double up in agony from my stomach and then all the way down, but this time I came out in a blotchy hot rash that kept me awake two nights running, slathering E45 all over the blotches every couple of hours. The itching was so hot and intense I was near screaming point. Strange. I thought at first it was the Radiotherapy that I had the week before Christmas week.
I get itching from my allergies. There are times I want to rip off my skin and with my scratching it, looks like I attempted it. A lukewarm bath with an oat extract in the water helps some, but only temporarily. Ask your doctor, you may be able to get a prescription strength antihistamine for those times.
I have to check the ingredients of everything coming into this house because of DD's allergies. You wouldn't believe how many things have onion in them for no reason that I can see.
I also wouldn't have thought of coconut in chocolate chip cookies.
I just read Susan's post and now I get the XXX. I hope you have a plan with your surgeon. Feel better soon.

I got Lindt too, along with bar of black and greens. And some frero Roche. I have to suck the nut š° because Iāve hardly got any teeth. Like you I have a couple a night BUT Iām back and hooked onto werthers sugar free. Itās worse than when I smokedā¦.well, not really. Itās 13 yrs for me stopping now. Wendy has one of these nicotine cigarettes and itās never out of her mouth. She has an awful cough and chest. Seemingly itās nicotine thatās in it , I thought they were those vapour things. They arenāt cheap either. But I look at it this way. She doesnāt do much else and her pretend cigs and vodka and coke on a night stops the boredomā¦ā¦each to their own. I know if I had a try, Iād get addicted again. Look at me with the werthers toffeesā¦ā¦

Werther's sugar free don't have aspartame in them, so they are probably better than the same amount of chocolates. Just don't consume the whole bag at once.
Good for you for stopping smoking. Mum was hooked on Tic Tac mints after she quit smoking. Stay away from those nicotine cigarettes. They are now talking about banning them over here because they can cause just as much of an addiction as cigarettes.

Iāve just had a lovely bath with all my New exfoliating creams that I got at Christmas from one of the boys. Itās such a struggle to get in the bath but itās worth it in the end. I got a message from Karen this morning. Did I fancy a cuppa āļø of chocolate š«. Well when do I ever say no. Not very often. Sheās in fine fettle. Been in trouble šæ for getting the grandkids too much at Christmas š
she says son and wife were complaining she knows sheās ānaughtyā but as she says she doesnāt do much elseā¦..Iām not getting involved. Haha. I can see it from both sides.
Stephen is back at work tomorrow and is not looking forward to itā¦ā¦.honestly, heād be the first to moan if he didnāt have a job. And ā¦if heās like his dad was , heāll hate retirement. Albert hated itā¦. I think he said he needed a break!,,,,,,,,,,,,,, how many more breaks in the year does he need? Iām just a mam thatās letās it all go over my head, and nod and agree most of the time. The moans get off their shoulders. Lovely kids. For all heās 50. He keeps telling me over and over again. It seems to be bothering him too. Heāll have to be like the rest of us and cope with what weāve all been given in the best way possibleā¦ā¦.
I think thatās enough for this afternoon my ice cream lolly is melting. Stay safe and warmā¦ā¦and be careful out there. Love yawl. Xxx

Grandparents are supposed to spoil the grands, and get them high on sugar before passing them back to the parents.
I'm not ready to be with my family 24/7. At least we have some boundaries while I'm working at my home desk. From what I've seen on vacation and holidays, I will expected to do more than I want to when I retire. Mum keeps thinking I have a gold plate pension like Stuart's, but I don't. I will be getting half of what I'm paid now. She seems to think I'll be taking her on trips around the world when I retire. Keep dreaming mum.
I remember when my granny had all her kids and grands come to her house on Sundays for a cup of coffee/tea and cookies. She'd be nodding first with one of her sons or daughters, then nodding with the next one that spoke. My mum has 5 brothers and sisters. They all married with children so there were a lot of people crammed into my granny's tiny kitchen, all talking at once.
Maybe just talking to you is enough for Stephen to figure out what he needs to do.
My brother turned 60 yesterday. Haven't been able to talk to him because he and SIL went up to their cottage to survey the damage from the winter storm and there is little cell phone service up there.

I think I slept most of the day away and then I cooked and watched a movie! I couldnāt figure out if it was Monday or Tuesday either.
It's Wednesday and I had to check the garbage collection calendar to see if the garbage bins would be picked up today. Nope, pickup is tomorrow. Hopefully I remember that tomorrow.
Are you feeling better with the sleep?
Today is the 25th anniversary of the Big Ice storm that wreaked the electricity system in eastern Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. We still have scars in a couple of our trees from that event. Some people were without electricity for 2 months. We were without electricity for 4 days. We have lived in the country though so we knew what to do and managed. When the electricity started being restored, businesses were told to work skeleton crews. My team was picked for the skeleton crew. We would go in and turn on a couple of computers and update them, then turn them off again. There were no street traffic lights so a lot of people volunteered to man some of the busier intersections because there just were not enough police to man them all. This court had a big barbeque in the middle of the court to use up all the food thawing in everyone's freezers. It was a memorable time.
I'm late.
Everyone have a good day and stay safe.

I honestly donāt know why either!

Iāve had a busy day (for me) I went over to Wendyās late ā° morning and had coffee and cake š§ with her. We always have a little something. I make her a cup of tea āļø.she eats better at tea time. The carers make her porridge for an early breakfast. She doesnāt use much energy so that could explain her lack of appetite. Itās been warm ish today. I just had my Aran on and left my coat in the car. It was quite windy though.
Then when I came home Josephine and me had a video. Wow can we chatter. Iāve now put up my sandwich š„Ŗ and come to bed to see you all and then do a jigsaw. Itās 4pm and not as dark as it was at 3pm a couple of weeks ago.
Jinxā¦ā¦I hope youāre not in too much pain. Josephine and I were saying how sorry we were. Thinking of you. Xxx
I think thatās the lot from me. Tomorrow should be Asda. Replenish my stock. Love yawl, stay safe. Xx
