It says right on the box to “microwave” for 3-1/2 minutes. I wonder if she will include the time it took to drive home from the store as well? I’d like to be on that jury...

Would laughing one's butt off in the jury box be considered contempt?

It said add water+microwave for 3 1/2 minutes. It doesn't say ready in 3 1/2 minutes.

And I thought my ex wife was impatient!

I don't think she cares how long it takes to complete the job. I think she lied when she said she paid the high price because she want the 3 1/2 minutes and she want to stretch her dollars. I am sure she knew exactly what it takes to compete the job and she knew it would take 3 1/2 minutes just for the microwave step so she bought it just to sue. I think she believe it's a good investment.
She bought it because she probably can't cook
Hell I can make Mac and Cheese in less than 15 mins from scratch and without the Microwave!!!
Well if I have all the ingredients

You would have to wait for the judge to stop laughing to find out. : )

On Amazon - "KRAFT EASY MAC Macaroni and Cheese Dinner is quick and ready in 3.5 minutes"
Maybe she'll sue Amazon for another $5 million.
I'm sure the corp will win...if it even gets to court.
Easy defense...pop dinner in micro for 3.5 minutes...eat in front of judge.
Done to every individuals expectations? Maybe...maybe not...but it's what it says it is and you sure can eat every bit of it.
That and a little education on microwave wattage variances...case closed.

This is just one of many examples of why the tort laws in the U. S. need to be reformed.
You don't see this kind of crap happening in a lot of other countries.
will
I buy these and take for my lunch. It says right on the package to microwave for 3.5 minutes, once it is done now you have to stir in the cheese packet which will take approx. 1 minute.
Here is my Process:
All times are approx except for the microwave.
get Macaroni from cupboard 3 seconds
open 1 second
remove cheese packet 1 second
fill to line with water 5 seconds
Microwave 3.5 minutes
add cheese packet 2 seconds
stir to mix cheese 1 minute
eat 5 minutes
total time from start to finish is approx 9 minutes 42 seconds your time may vary.
without the time for consuming the item it is approx 4 minutes and 42 seconds.
After the case is thrown out of court, Kraft-Heinz should counter sue her for their legal expenses.

I'm looking at a Kraft Mac & Cheese Dinner in a box and it indicates that after bringing water to boil to stir in macaroni and cook 7-8 mins. After draining stir in butter, milk and cheese. Total time is about 15 mins. tops.
For the Mac & cheese in a cup: add water and nuke for 3-1/2 mins. Then stir in cheese packet. Maybe total time 4-1/2 mins.
Maybe she confused box dinner with cup.
