That was James Carville...married to Republican strategist Mary Matalin.

What is the sixth commandment, Art? God's attitude towards murder is evident both in the Old Testament and New Testament. Murderers are among the list in the N.T. of those bound for Hell (although the gift of Salvation is still available to them through Faith. I know that many have turned to Christ while facing their own mortality on death row).

The quick answer is, "no," He is not okay with this. However, in His great wisdom, He chose to create sentient beings with the power of choice. First the angels, some of whom, along with Lucifer, did sin and rebel against God. Then, man, who created sinless, but with choice, also chose to rebel against God. God, indeed, foresaw all of this and provided ways of Redemption. In the Old Testament, there were sacrifices to be made. These sacrifices, though, were based on the Faith of what God had told them, including Adam, Cain, Abel, and Abraham, etc., to do. They believed Him (all except Cain), and it was accounted as Righteousness for them. However, if you read Leviticus, these animal sacrifices had to be made continually to cover ongoing sin. The Law was a teacher, in that is taught those following it that it was impossible to be sinless and Righteous. There was only one way to cover all the sins of all men who ever lived and who ever might live. That is through the shedding of the blood of God Himself. That is why the Father sent the Son, Jesus Christ, to first present Himself as Messiah to the Jews, which He knew would be rejected, and then to die on the Cross, shedding His blood for the sins of all mankind. The blood of Jesus Christ if sufficient to cover all sin. And only Jesus Christ. Just as with Adam and then Abraham, all God asks is that the individual believe. In this case, believe that Christ died for your sins and rose again that you, too, might rise again. It is interesting to note that, historically, the animal sacrifices that took place at the Temple in Jerusalem ceased just a few years after the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ when the Romans destroyed Herod's Temple, which has never been rebuilt.

In the end, God will Redeem all things, including the earth. All things will be judged, including Lucifer and the fallen angels who will be bound and cast into Hell. Those who murdered and remained unrepentent and unsaved will be judged accordingly. So, no, evil is not okay with God, but it was necessary for a time in order not only to create man as he is, but the angels who serve both Him and us.

If you wonder about Angels serving us, ask me how the helped me to deliver a dog to a woman who needed one so badly. I'm not kidding.

btw, I'm an Atheist, aka reformed Roman Catholic. I know the story, I just don't accept it. DC vs. Marvel to me is just as important as all the holy books of all the religions.

The activists on this subject holler and scream that they want to have the decision of what they do with it, forgetting that there is another little body inside of them that they should bring into the decision but hardly ever do.

Art, it would seem that the a******n issue certainly clouded the actual "day-to-day" issues which we are all currently facing.

If a family with two kids is having trouble keeping up with "day-to-day" issues, the prospect of another kid is dire.

Quite true but I don't see how this is related to my comment.

Losing personal choice in controlling family size didn't cloud the "day-to-day" issues, it brought the "day-to-day" issues into high relief.

Perhaps that's the case in Queensland. I think the day-to-day issues here in the U.S. were placed in the shadow of the a******n issue.

You have to admit that ... "Biden's price of *fuel, food and inflation" ... were hammered home by the Q/GOPers almost to the exclusion of everything else.

*"day-to-day" issues.

Exactly. However, it's difficult to overlook the facts of high prices for everyday commodities.

My word it's difficult to overlook the facts of high prices for everyday commodities ... especially if one is forced into yet more kids.

Choice is a big deal for women.

A******n/Free choice are important. I told you so. lol

Now that it has been made clear how to win e******ns, will the GOP change it's position?

Better not. The morally correct thing to do is to quit k*****g the unborn. To find a******n to be acceptable is morally bankrupt.

That's the old school, anti-choice, sanctimonious reactionary position and easy to say ... until the reactionary's daughter falls pregnant. Then it's Herschel Walker time eh?
