So, Yes, I would be interested in a travel section. If someone had told me the specific locations in Ireland and Scotland where I would need a lens wider than the 24x120 recommended, I would have taken my 16x35 for the Highlands, interior of castles, churches, libraries (Trinity College & Book of Kells) I would have taken it. As a result, my 24x120 wasn't wide enough to capture what my eyes were seeing. A travel section might have convinced me, with specifics, to take the wider lens in addition to the 24x120.

It would have to be divided into sections: foreign or domestic; Europe or Asia; east coast or west coast, etc.
Then city, state etc. Why?

Is there any interest in a travel section on UHH? I approached admin some time ago about it but life got in the way. I'd consider rekindling the interest if there was someone who wanted to co-admin the thing.
I envision a section that has tips, where to photography, what to take, etc...
Thoughts?
No not me. How long would I have to wait until something that interest me shows up? I can Googol it faster in real time.
Yes. I would use it. We love to travel. A place to share tips would be great.

Your post reminds me of a story told about the English author, Neville Coghill, who had gone to be at the side of his aged dying mother. She was asleep during the time he was there, and when it came time to leave, he bent down and kissed her forehead. As his hand lifted the latch of the door, he heard her call his name "Neville". He turned to see his mother half-raised in her bed. In her frail voice she said "Remember, Neville, I only regret my economies"
