I fell asleep yesterday on my bed app 4/5pm and knew no more apart from the bathroom visits until 10am this morning. Stephen had text me 3 times with no answer. He knew where I’d be. My eye seems to have come back to some normality and I’m fine. Just happy memories of this week. Thankyou Josephine. I was going to Stephen’s today but backed off. I think they were please I’ve not gone there, they want to get on with some housework. Better them than me.

I’ve had Margaret up for a cuppa ☕️ and she chatted about her holiday this week too. They’ve been to Torquay on a coach trip and visited a few towns down , I’ll probably see Karen tomorrow. Mary’s just had her flu and covid jabs together. I must sort out my covid. You can keep th flu 😷 injection. I might have a look up Britton on Monday afternoon. There’s an injection bus comes on a Monday only. We’ll see.it’s been pouring today which is fine, th earth 🌍 so dry. Stay safe every one, if you can,🧢 haha…….love yawl and hugs to the ladies and sisters who need one. Going to do a jigsaw now.

Morning from my windy, rainy, chilly little corner of the world. I had an unusual thought this a.m. I wondered what I had on my knitting needles. I have not thought of actually knitting, but maybe that thought will enter my mind in the next week or so.
My excitement for today is another doctors appointment and tests. I am not sure if I can walk into the clinic. My neighbor is taking me and using the clinic's wheelchair. I sure have the nicest neighbor. Yesterday he replaced an electrical socket, put new wheels on a stool, put salt in the water softener, purchased distilled water, bought and installed a grab bar. I am finding the grab bar most useful. What would I ever do without him?

What a lovely neighbour. Send him over here!

Evening girls 👧 it’s been a long day, BUTa brilliant one. Josephine landed right on time at 3ish and it was lovely to have a real cuddle. We went straight from the 🚂 train, into sainsburys, which I don’t shop at and got some odds and ends to eat, if ever we are in long eat it. And guess what? Their coffee ☕️ was on special offer, so I just had to get some. And when I take Josephine back on Friday, I’ll see if they are still on offer.

Then…we had a chat and off out for our tea/dinner at our usual meal at the local restaurant. It was beautiful. Josephine had the salmon and I had hunters chicken, don’t think I could eat anymore. We are so tired we’ve piled into our beds at 9. So that’s why I’m late. It’s lovely to have someone to shar my home with…..it must be 3 yrs since we met last time. Stay safe loves and cuddles 🥰 to those who need it. Love yawl. Xx

I wish I was in the middle of those hugs (but you'd have to be very gentle)

Good morning all from a sunny Norfolk but only 10C. Made a chicken curry for dinner so that's all ready, as it's Sunday might have a day of rest (for a change?) Have a good one whatever you're up to. xx

I’ve had a very lazy day today. Lazier than normal and that’s pushing it!. Josephine and me had a video watts app and talked like we hadn’t just seen each other.I don’t know what happens! We just talk and talk. She’s been makin some patchwork and showed me it , it looks lovely 😊 she brought me a couple of patchwork 🥣 bowls when she came. Very pretty.

Stephen texted to see if I wanted any shopping but I was ok. He said coffee ☕️ was on offer at Tesco. $1 a tin. He got me another dozen. They went out to a national tut building and had cream tea and scones. There’s no filling them two. They bought my coffee and Stephen washed my hair. He the best at it. He be. Good bread 🍞 maker. He has h umph. I’m still not fussy on my cut.

I’ve texted Karen and she’s fine and I’m going in there tomorrow. I got a text from Richard. He has a new dvd 📀 about elvis and his life story.so I’m going up next weekend. I don’t think mom an dad are invited haha. I’ll get some sweets 🍭 and we’ll be fine. I’m no sue what day. It depends what night Matthew’s not at work.

No more to say today, I started my new medication 💊 this morning so we’ll see what or if anything it does for me. .stay safe love and hugs.

Good morning all from a sunny Norfolk, a cold wind blowing so only 9C. Chip shop dinner today as DH has an appointment right on dinner time. Not a lot else on the agenda. Boiler man coming first thing in the morning, yes the heating is on, don't think I've got enough flesh on me to keep warm. Have a good day if you can. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:06 am EDT and 10'C (50'F) going up to 16'C (61'F).
The maritime provinces are starting to recover from Hurricane Fiona. It hit near Cape Breton Nova Scotia as a category 3 hurricane, one of the strongest hurricanes on record in that area. It left Nova Scotia as a category 1 hurricane but travelled very slowly over the cold water of the Gulf of St Lawrence and the eye wall collapsed making it a post-tropical supercell. At that point it did the most damage. 38 foot waves coincided with high tide. This thing was also huge covering all of the maritime provinces and the shore of Quebec on the north side of the gulf. One person was killed in Newfoundland as the waves collapsed houses and a woman was swept out to sea. Houses also collapsed on the Magdalen Islands in the Gulf and on the north shore in Quebec. Over 280,000 people are without power as trees and power lines are down everywhere. Crews from as far away as Ontario are there trying to restore electricity. The under sea cable that supplies electricity to the Magdalen Islands was damaged so it may be a month before their electricity is restored.
Our cold weather is caused by the strong winds around that storm that are drawing arctic air down on this side of the storm.
On Friday, I got a message from the owner of the LYS, could I help with their move to the new store. I've never moved a store before so I said yes. It took us 4 hours but we packed everything on the tabletops and countertops and all the display cases. The yarn hanging on the hooks on the walls will be wrapped with industrial film and lifted from the wall in a unit. That eliminates unpacking and repacking. New hooks are already installed at the new location. The film just has to be removed and the panel rehung. On Saturday one of the ladies who works at the store was bringing her husband and her 3 teen age sons to move all the boxes, cases, shelves and tables. I told the owner to just keep feeding them and they will keep working. They won't be able to open at the new location until their final inspection on Tuesday. (Or maybe Thursday). Her online store is still available and orders can be picked up at the curb until they get their occupancy permit. I had fun (isn't that strange).
All adults in this province can now book to get the bivalent vaccine. BUT, it is only available in Cobourg at a 2 day clinic (so you know how many shots are available). It is also Moderna, which I can't get. Pfizer won't be approved until after their court case. (Moderna is suing them for using the same technology as Moderna - which is from the research that Canadian scientists gave both companies - so this is just a way to tie up both companies in court!!!) I'm not happy about either company at the moment.
It's my first time back to work since the beginning of September and I can't find anything. My lunch box has disappeared so I have to use an older, ripped one. I'll buy a new one on the way home and then I'll find the other one!
My brioche hat is at the decreases for the crown. I've had problems with the brown yarn. I can't see it without my neck light for one, and I keep grabbing only one thread of this multi thread yarn and then that yarn lets go. I've had to tink and reknit sections when that happened. That brown yarn feels like a light fingering but it blooms when the hat is blocked (a lot) so it should be quite soft on the inside of the hat. I didn't take any pictures. We've had rain all weekend.

Morning from my little corner of the world. It is cold, damp, raining, thundering, and lightning. At times during the day I have a bit of time where I can be up playing on the computer or watching t.v. This morning I spend my time chatting with idiots online at Walmart. Then I decided I would prefer to talk to a loving caring special group of ladies and here I am.
Missing June. Sending loving caring thought.
Hope the rest of us under the weather are improving and will be fit as a fiddle a.s.a.p.
