I guess they might have been stressing those engines on takeoff. I could see it being a good jump platform, but if I recall they tried to use them for gunships, which didn't work as well as the Spector C130.

Ed, I think you missed one download. The first is an F-35- one engine.

I don't know about C 119s. I believe the first Magic Dragon called Puff was a C 47 Goony Bird

Yeah Puff was a pretty good bird, but Spector changed the game.
