I have noticed a longer delay with some uploaded images, but nothing to really complain about. I wouldn't have mentioned it.

Yes, VERY slow! I was blaming it on my internet provider, but maybe they're not at fault?

When clicking the download button, the image doesn't appear "instantaneously". It seems to load from top to bottom in noticeable "steps". It's not objectionable but is noticeable.
I want to compliment you on the manner in which you manage this site. It has to be a very intense job.

No problem at this time (3:35 PM EDT) at my location with fiber optic service. Just uploaded and downloaded a 10 megabyte image and both were very quick.
There are times during the day and night when internet traffic is heavy and both operations might be slower. The problem is much more unpredictable with 5G traffic that can sometimes slow to a trickle regardless of the local signal strength.
I don't think it's a problem with your host.

Unless you're running very old Apple software, I doubt it. I have three Macs and two iPads and none of them has any problem.

Run a Speedtest on your PC/Mac. Sounds like a hosting issue to me.
