A couple of shots of an A-1D Skyraider and KC-135 Stratotanker from the Open House at Selfridge ANGB this past weekend. The A-1D was a first time see for me, always ready to take that challenge. I have some history with the KC-135, it was the first aircraft (engines) that I worked on when I entered the AF in 1980. Always happy to see it still serving, even with newer engines.

Excellent series. #4 is my favorite. You caught it while turning directly towards you, great timing. Excellent light and focus. Nice composition. Mahalo for sharing.
