Reputable used dealers.
Robert's usedphotopro.com does a great job.
Used Photo Pro ( Robert's used entity) B&H, those are my two go tos.
Have bought several camera bodies and lenses from mpb.com with excellent results. Have also sold camera to them. They are excellent organization to deal with. Ratings are conservative. Their website shows the actual camera/lens you are considering which others do not. Good luck.
I have bought from MPB in the past. Excellent service for customer's satisfaction. Not so lately, after the pandemic things are not the same as before.
I have also bought a couple of used lenses from Robert's Camera. EXCELLENT customer service, very satisfied with what I bought and as a bonus they gave me a 6 moths warranty on my bought items, not that I needed to use the warranty.
I highly recommend Robert's Camera.

Seven or eight transactions with MPB (buy, sell and trade) all quick and flawless. I highly recommend them.
Top notch service and description each time I have purchased from them.
I have dealt with MPB for well over 7 years. Initially, I wasnt sure what to expect, not being a buyer of "site unseen" description only, etc. Because some of my equipment is placed in extreme harsh environments, it didnt make sense to buy new. About 18 months ago, they had a Nikon 600mm F/4 lens and after almost a week of asking every question that I needed to satisfy me as well as asking for images taken in specific environments, I took the plunge. Savings were huge & satisfaction is still there. I have as of yet to return one of their used lenses or bodies . In addition, I have sold used equipment there. They are typically very prompt in payments directly to checking account.
I've bought and sold lenses with MPB. Good people, no problems, gear as advertised.

In the past I have purchased from KEH with zero problems but now there are more choices.
Has anyone had a positive experience with MPB.com? Feel free to suggest any other online stores that you have received good or great service from.
Thanks,
Mike
I have dealt with MPB and Used Photo Pro ( Roberts Camera ) on numerous occasions..both companies top notch..I'm sure KEH is the same..I just look for the best deal between all the reputable companies and don't think you can go wrong with any of them..I lean towards Roberts myself because like someone mentioned, they have photos of the actual item that you are buying .I had a little problem with a flash once, called them up, and 3 days later had a replacement..no questions asked

And on camera bodies they show shutter count.
I have made multiple purchases from MPB. No problems, all equipment as advertised.

KEH is still at the top of the list and for the reasons that you mentioned.
I have, ironically, had very good luck with a 10-24mm that I bought from a guy on Ebay for my D 7100. Since buying a D 750 I am looking for the Holy Trinity of Nikkor zooms but I don't want to have to hock one or two of our 11 kids to get them. Baby steps. lol
All true of MBP too and I’ve usually found their prices a little better and they’ve paid a little more when I’ve sold to them.

KEH is my most used, but I've used
MPB (generally best trade-in values, but sometimes slow delivery when they get busy around holidays)
Adorama (usually very reliable)
B&H (reliable all-around, but both trade-in values and resale prices can be high)
Roberts' UsedPhotoPro.com (very fair)
Read the fine print. Warranties can vary between 30 days and 6 months or 180 days. Restocking fees are common. Pay attention to shipping costs and methods, and read the return policies. Keep all receipts and buy with credit, not debit cards, so you have a consumer protection guarantee from the card company.
AVOID Abe's of Maine and 42nd Street Photo. Both are sharks.
I’ve bought used from KEH and B&H and gotten better condition than I expected. I’ve bought from UHH members, and members on other photo forums, some of whom have looser condition criteria than the retail guys. Just my experience.

A fool and his money part ways at Abe's.
