I'm glad you have warmth again. I'm doing as much tinking as knitting ATM.

My DD says I tink as fast as I knit.

Hello everyone. I’ve just come indoors from being at knit and natter and had a good chat with everyone. I think I’ve just about been in every seat there is, Karen ( no 2 at k and n) moved us to a different one again.I just go with the flo, you know me.. I don’t care where I sit as long as I have my Starbucks and piece of cake. Everyone’s nice.

I haven’t been into Karen’s house this morning. I fancied a quiet one. Cassie comes tomorrow then Wendy’s on the afternoon. I may not shop Thursday as I’m at York on Friday. Some of the work the group does is absolutely beautiful 😻 they are so clever. I’m plodding on with a premature baby blanket. I’ll phrase it this way, I would imagine the baby that gets this at the hospital won’t even be a twinkle in its daddies eye…..there’s no rush.

I’m sorry once again for little news, but nothings happened. So…love yawl and stay safe. 💋
117 br br Hello everyone. I’ve just come indoors ... (show quote)

"Speed chatting"
Mum decided to do what she is calling a baby blanket. I'm looking at the length of this project and I'm thinking she is going to end up with a full size blanket, if that is the width. She is enjoying it. Not sure what it is called. She has trouble finding it again on the internet. But it is crochet and has bobbles created by shells.
Your blanket will get finished when it is finished. I'm sure someone will love it.

I just missed the garbage truck. I figured that the pickup day would be pushed back a day due to the holiday yesterday, but I guess the garbagemen didn't have a holiday.
We'll have to put out 2 weeks worth next week.

Although I have never had them I hear fish taco's are an okay dish. 😊

I think Trish is the expert on fish tacos.
I have only had them a couple of times, so I don't know what is the "best" fish tacos.

Just to confuse you we are having fish and chips today. Laundry all done, ironed and put away.👍

When I worked in Whitby, I'd have fish and chips anytime I'd felt like it because the fish shop was so good. Although mid-week, I'd sometimes have the fish with salad instead of chips (Unthinkable, I know!)

The children's hospitals in Ontario are reporting that children are going to hospital at the highest levels since the pandemic began. It looks like "son of omicron" affects children more than the original covid.

We had shovelable snow yesterday. Lucky Lilly was visiting next door and cleared our walk and deck.
I made a few shopping bags out of cotton. Made them so the bag folded into a flap on the bottom. I bet they are still in the trunk of the car. Do not have the opportunity to use them when doing the grocery pick up.

Most of the patterns for grocery bags were mesh, but I didn't want that because small things fall through the mesh. So I made my life more difficult with a more dense pattern.

"Only have a murmur".
Still something that needs to be checked.
I hope your test goes well and without a long wait time.

I agree with you. Those "cute" bags with meshy holes are not as useful as a solid bag. I find it easier to put things in and take things out of the bags if there are no holes for things to get caught up in.

I'm happy when everyone posts, just to say you are still there and still well.

The best I can do is say I am still here.

They must have been thinking of a Canadian winter that seems to be black and white forever. They don't know that Canadians celebrate every other colour because our growing season is so short.
I couldn't figure out what the poster was replying to, because it doesn't show the original post. That's confusing.

It was news to me that Canadians like things black and white. Silly to think that. A lot of displeasure on that site because of the bright white color hurts eyes. There is a dark mode which also hurts eyes. Guessing a happy medium color is needed no matter what country they are from.

Good morning all from sunny Norfolk, background heat, hot water on tap and sunshine, I'm a happier bunny today. Next door are having a new entrance made to their front garden so have a big JCB parked outside our house, something to watch I suppose. Nothing else I want to do although might sort out what I might need next in the yarn department and make a list for DH. Then get dinner and knitting. Have a good day, hope the sun shines for you too. xx

Yeah for heat and hot water. They are wonderful things but sunshine is indeed an added blessing.
