The handsome survivor of any where U.S.A. Ridiculed by the Warner brothers (where are THEY now?) My kinda guy. And oh yes, honored as the mascot for the University of South Dakota. The South Dakota State mascot is the Jack Rabbit. The shouted cry by the University of South Dakota fans as they watch an athletic event against South Dakota State, is "KILL THE RABBITT". Or something like that.

Yep. We have a few in my neighborhood in Sunland a few miles from the mountains in Los Angeles.
Ours have a den in the tiny wooded area behind a big church and my dog pulls on her leash and barks whenever she see them walking the streets.

Thanks for commenting Bret. Coyotes urbanize readily and although they are seldom seen by residents they even thrive in New York City
