Very good shots, I used to see them close up from the tractor while I was brush hogging on the farm I worked at .

Actually we have a shortage of Roadrunners around. I used to see three or four a week without looking. Now between the 20+ year drought effecting their prey and desert destruction from building homes for people who only live here in the winter, affectionally called "Snow Birds", I am lucky to see one every couple of months

He doesn't look too healthy. That's about how they look here. With all the construction around taking up the open desert, they get left in the middle of a housing development with nothing to eat - no rabbits or even snakes!
