Found out what the flipping noise was……we’ve had an earthquake in York. Which is about 60miles away….Margaret’s saying it’s on the internet……I couldn’t work out what it was.
Oh wow!! Glad it doesn't seem to have caused you any damage!!

Is it crazy that I thought that too?

Glad it didn’t do any damage and that you are okay.

Good morning my dear friend. I am always concerned when someone says they have symptoms that might be covid related. I know you are careful and take precautions. Is the double vision in your eye what you think is causing the issues? Hoping whatever it is clears up and does not cause any more issues. 💖🥰
I've just done a Covid test and it was negative!!

Glad you're ok, Susan! xxxooo

Thanks for letting me know. I was hinting at that but do not like to be pushy. Do you have the meds okayed that are to be used as quickly as covid is confirmed? My son and his wife took those meds. Impossible to know if they helped or not.
Double vision can indeed cause dizziness and headaches. Hoping you get answers from the specialists sooner rather than later.

Well done on the walking, that's excellent! I promised myself a walk today but it's soulless on your own! xxxx
Yes, it can be lonely. Will be on my own when we get back up north. xxxooo

My word! That has not hit our news yet. Hoping there was no damage or injuries. Glad you and you home seem to have escaped unscathed.

Not sure there are any meds available over here for that, we're obviously one step behind!! Xxxx

They are not available at the moment I don't think but are known, probably not been approved yet. xxxx

Hi everyone, lots of flooding going on in BC since the last rain. Lots of damage and clean up to be done. The Malahat was closed over night to Victoria. People tried to use ferries and the back up was intense. Some waited 5-7hrs to get on. We were ok in Youbou, although it makes me worry that they want to log the mountain behind us clean. Slides are a big problem.
Here's a couple photos of the Farm Market before Chemainus and the Malahat near Goldstream Park. I stayed home that day without knowing it was this devastating. Like we haven't had enough with the pandemic. Otherwise my days are full with ongoing probate and estate chores. Losing my Covid weight.. down 10 lbs and working on more with healthier eating. Sending hugs to you all. xoxox

Well done on losing your covid-weight, glad you stayed in and stayed safe on Tuesday. xxx
Good morning all from a cold and cloudy Norfolk, the sun was out when I got up but has disappeared now. A good day for mutton stew. There was only 3 mutton chops but they were huge so deboned them and turned them into stew. Looking forward to dinner. Have a good day, stay safe and warm. xx

Hello all, have been awol, for a bit ..... due to feeling quite exhausted. Went on a long weekend camp last Thursday, and came back home on Monday. It rained quite heavily for about four days last week, and finally stopped raining, at my home, on Sunday; but we only had light rain in the CCmornings, while we were camping; and the remainder of each day was beautiful, but cool; so there was no swimming during the entire camp
Don't have anymore news, so I will do a bit of a catch-up; while watching Michael Portillo, on his Pilgrim trek along the Cornwall coast, to Torque (?sp), and he has just finished a chilly swim in the sea, with a group of women. He has now finished his trek at the mouth of the River Exe! The places he travelled through, were absolutely stunning; and when I see all of the wonderful places throughout the world, makes me wish that the distances are so great, and there is not a much faster way of travelling this planet! We watched someone else's trip throughout the outer islands off the West of Scotland, and one of the Islands, was the Island that my Ancestor travelled from, to come to Australia, I think it was the Isle of Mull (I could be wrong about that, it could have been one of the other Islands). Anyway, this is one way to see my ancestral lands; one just doesn't get to feel the atmosphere of the places, or meet the people! 🤔🤨
Now onto some catchup! Have a wonderful day/evening! xoxoxo
