Good morning from a 45F and just becoming daylight. No plans again today other than a walk this afternoon. May do a few chores, but we'll see. Went for a walk yesterday afternoon with my neighbor. We're walking about 2-1/2 miles, so not too bad. Will get on with some knitting at some point. I hope you all are having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

The talk around here was with the children vaccinated the number of cases would go down. That has not proven to be true. Numbers are going up. Son and his wife did everything right and still got sick. Yesterday was a bit better for them. Hoping today they are even better.

Glad they are improving, hope they get over it quickly. xx

Right you've got me there, what's goola goola? Don't give mine a choice, if he can't be bothered to see what we've got he'll have what I get out. Mutton chops tomorrow. Have finished my chores for the day, will now sit back and have a knitting afternoon with perhaps a few necessary phone calls thrown in. xx

Basically it is a casserole with ground beef, noodles, creamed corn, creamed mushroom soup, and a few odds and ends. Something his family made a lot and he still enjoys.
Silly story about that. I ask Harold's mother for the recipe before we got married. On our 3rd anniversary she handed me a paper and said here is the recipe you wanted. By them I had made it several hundred times. His mom was noted for being very late and never doing anything on time.

Perhaps she was seeing if things would last before handing over her recipe. xx

I’ve just come in from being at Wendy’s. Put a little sandwich up then heard this almighty thudding and throbbing above my head. Well it’s getting dark so I’ve been and had a 👀 look. I’ve looked out the back, I’m very brave, round the side and at the front, thinking 🤔 maybe another aerial has fallen down. Well I’ve looked and can’t see nothing. Watch the tv not go on….it was a strange noise. You would think I had people on the roof and they are making a hasty getaway. It’s unsettling, so I’m double locked in….

Wendy is in good spirits this afternoon and gave me one of her 🧚 fairy cakes she bought from Aldi’s , it was 🥰 lovely. I’m going to Asda in the morning. That’s the plan anyway. Cassie came this morning, bless her, that girl can talk for Yorkshire. And stands still while she talks..she’s still doing well for me. She’ll do anything I ask of her. Or just gets on with it. I don’t think andrews. Very fussy 😭 but their house is double if not table the size of mine and once a fortnight for two hours really isn’t long enough. They’ve got a kitchen the size of my sitting room. 3bedrooms down stairs then upstairs there a little flat which really only get used when their family comes. I think they expect too much. But….nothing to do with me.

I got my AA bill in just nice before 🎅 Christmas. It hasn’t gone up sins except last year, so I’ll just keep it. I’ve got to have the peace ☮️ of mind for home 🏠 start and relay. I’m happy with it.

I’m eating healthy tonight… I’ve got a banana! Plus….crisps and a ham and cheese sandwich 🥪 so I’m not too healthy. I think tomorrow will be shepherds 🥧 pie. That’s all for today unless I find out what the clatter noise was. Something, somewhere is knackered…..bet it’s my 📺 tv. Stay safe, love yawl. Enjoy your day or night.

I'm hoping that the black bears in this area keep those wild boars in Pickering away from here. I like walking in the woods and wouldn't want something with a bad temper in the woods with me. The bears have enough sense to avoid people. I've spooked deer and a moose. Moose run funny.

I’d run bloody funny if a moose was after me…..

Good morning my dear friend. I am always concerned when someone says they have symptoms that might be covid related. I know you are careful and take precautions. Is the double vision in your eye what you think is causing the issues? Hoping whatever it is clears up and does not cause any more issues. 💖🥰

Thanks for your concern! I really have no idea whether or not the two are connected, hoping the corneal clinic can come to a conclusion about that! The dizziness has passed off now but it still leaves you wary of standing up - which is probably why I haven't done that much today!! xxxx

Found out what the flipping noise was……we’ve had an earthquake in York. Which is about 60miles away….Margaret’s saying it’s on the internet……I couldn’t work out what it was.

The chore that is bothering me is washing the outside of the kitchen cabinets. It seems they all got messy overnight. One day they were clean and the next day I saw prints on all of them. Funny thing is they do not clean themselves.

That is one of my biggest annoyances!! I ask DH to please use the handles to close the door but he finds a big sweaty hand so much more convenient!! xxxx

Well done on the walking, that's excellent! I promised myself a walk today but it's soulless on your own! xxxx
