We have javelinas here in Arizona. Have had them come through our property. Here's the definition of them: Javelina (Tayassu tajacu) also known as collared peccary, are medium-sized animals that look similar to a wild boar. They have mainly short coarse salt and pepper colored hair, short legs, and a pig-like nose. The hair around the neck/shoulder area is lighter in color giving it the look of a collar. Javelina have long, sharp canine teeth which protrude from the jaws about an inch.

They can be quite nasty so best to avoid them. xxxooo

I agree. We've seen all sizes and had a small herd of them wander through our property last year when we were here. Must have been 7 or 8 of them in all sizes. We kept our distance! xxxooo

What patterns are you using for your hats? Anything unusual?

I'm doing all sorts of patterns. So far I've done:

Antler Toque, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/antler-toque
Matthew Hat, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/matthew-hat-and-scarf
Adventure Awaits Hat, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/adventure-awaits-hat-2

Currently working on Man's Loop and Hat (only making the hat), https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/r0055---mens-loop-and-hat

Will do a few more, including October Hat, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/october-hat-3
and probably a couple more (including a two-color brioche) but not sure which ones yet.

Well…I’ve had a busy day. I was up at 8am ready for the chat club at ten. Today we had a twenty question 🙋‍♂️ Quiz, the subject was yorkshire. It was a great laugh and I enjoyed it. It cos me $1 and got a raffle ticket, but I never won today, so that’s fine. It isn’t on next week because we are going on a trip to a garden centre and may have lunch there.

This afternoon I went back to the hall and had knit and natter. I got the back finished all but a few lines. It’s looking 🤩 pretty. We talked about all sorts this afternoon and such a laugh. I wasn’t laughing when I realised I couldn’t pay my $1.50 because I’d left my purse at home. I felt 😢 awful. But they told me not to worry and they will put my name in the window 🪟 saying Susan owes money. So I am let off for a week. I shall have to pay twice next week.

I’m reluctant to turn my tv 📺 on tonight. I had it frozen again last night. I think it’s the 📦 box. At one time I had all the 🏭 factory settings on my screen. It’s getting beyond a joke now. When I’m at S and b I sit with Marilyn. She’s lived here all her life. So today, a gentleman came up to me and said was I Susan? I said yes. He said he was her brother and she’d told him to look out for me. Yes, all in all it’s been another good day and if the tv 📺 behaves I’ll have had a good day and evening.

I’ve really got to get some petrol in and do some food shopping, I must go Thursday. Wendy’s tomorrow. And Cassie comes in the morning. I’m going to take my knitting 🧶 to Wendy’s, she’s crotcheting blankets, so we can chat all afternoon again. It soon comes round to Wednesday.

I have to stay ,which I don’t mind, at Stephen’s on Friday night. He’s got little 🚘 car booked in for its MOT on Saturday morning. He’ll take her for me. Home Saturday afternoon I hope.I hope she passes. I usually take it to his friends garage, who checks it all over and if there’s anything needs repairing or new put it on for the mot. Fingers crossed.

Love yawl….stay safe….I’m really low on coffee, like 20 tins left. Gone are the days of 93🤨

I'm glad you had a good sleep.
I got some chocolate bombs at the farmer's market. These are hollow chocolate balls that you drop into hot milk. As the chocolate shells melts, mini marshmallows and spices pop out of the bomb. It's fun to watch and they taste yummy.
I'm glad that Karen is doing better.
Love you back.

Ooooothey sound just like 👍 I would enjoy them…..

Great assortment of patterns. Resemble some of my favorites. My two very favorites are https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/butterfly-hat and https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/snappy-hat I tend to knit chunky two colored hats for those I donate. I assume if someone needs a hat they need it for warmth not style.

😢 I've caught the sniffles from somewhere. Sneezing and my nose is a faucet. But other than this no news.

Both look like great hats. I'll add them to my hat library. Thanks! xxxooo
