Good morning all from a bright and sunny London, we have 12'C but for some reason, we didn't put the heating on!

Not feeling 100% today, a little dizzy now and then and I have a headache. It may still be too much screen time so I'm closing down now, be back when I feel better!!

Have a great day, be safe and have fun!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow, you are way ahead of me this a.m. I have eaten breakfast, did a jigsaw, drank 2 cups of coffee, went to the bathroom twice. Hm, I better get my chores done. What do you think?

It's entirely up to you, you can do what you want when you want, everything will still be there tomorrow. You wouldn't think he knew what we had in the freezer, ask him what shall we have for dinner tomorrow and the first thing he always say is fish and he's never been a big fish eater just can't be bothered to check what we've got. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:46 am EST and -2'C (28'F), going up to double-digits today but with rain.
One of my more excitable co-workers contacted me just before the end of work yesterday with a problem that she said "affected everyone". It seemed something changed yesterday and some of our software that talks to the province wasn't working. (It affected 28 people). We tested out a fix but it was too late in the day to fix all the affected people, so I left the fix with the people on the late shift. So this morning I get to see the results.
The Bank of Canada is talking about raising rates to "fight inflation". So making everyone pay more for interest payments will make everything cheaper????? Who went to that finance class?
Our new covid number is 481 with 2 deaths. Positivity rate is 2.5%. Our local website has not been updated.
This province vaccinated 13K people yesterday. This area vaccinated 181 people. Still no word on when the children can be vaccinated, despite Health Canada saying that approval would come this week. Only 2 more days left.
I second guessed my knitting last night. I thought my gusset was going to be too long so I speeded up the increases, making a quickly rising gusset. Well I should have stayed with the original plan, because I turned the heel and the sock was an inch too short. I've frogged back the heel turn and now I have to go back an inch in a very patterned instep. I was so frustrated that I got more yarn from downstairs. Luckily it was close to bedtime so I couldn't start anything else.

Pick one chore. That should be enough

When I was very young I went to work with little sleep and when kids went home for hours lunch I pushed desks together and thought I’d just rest my head. Good thing my coworker friend saw I’d fallen asleep and woke me before the kids came back. She thought it was funny. I was embarrassed.

I was caught snoozing in my very comfy chair at work, once and only once. I was waiting for something to complete and was nodding in the chair when the boss came by. He suggested I go for a long walk to wake up. And I got a cup of tea while I was up. I'm lucky he didn't say something else.

So glad to be on tonight. It’s way late but I’m so overtired I’m awake. I didn’t eat enough with the pill that says with a meal so I started to feel odd. Son delayed taking out the garbage to the road so had the dog late and fed cat late.
I finished the most dorkiest hat. I just wanted it done. So made a k1p1 edge and now it’s too long on my forehead. Might shrink when I wash it. Son wants me to knit a baby hat like Yoda. Had to look it up. I think I bought the right green today. Might make a baby sack like yoda’s coat. Don’t know why anyone would compare their beautiful baby boy to yoda.

One of my cousin's children was nicknamed Yoda for a good part of his childhood. He had ears that stood straight out from his head. And had very thin hair. He grew into a very handsome TALL young man, and was the first of her children to get married.
Baby Yoda was cute. Old Yoda, not so much.

Good morning from sunny Surrey. Had a lovely afternoon patchworking with my friends.

This morning I'm meeting up with my other craft group. We've not met since the first lockdown so we'll have plenty to talk about.

Happy Wednesday everyone and stay safe xxx

Happy Wednesday.
That is going to be a chatty meeting.
Enjoy.

Morning. Hope while your stirred up you will be stirring a pot also. Today is wings Wednesday. Doesn't that sound exciting?

Didn't buy any wings last shopping weekend. I like turkey wings. You get more meat. Wings really are just an excuse to eat sauce.

Morning all from a partially sunny Norfolk but only 6C at the moment. I might have to stir myself this morning and get some washing done but apart from that nothing planned. Have a good safe day. xx

Why? Did you run out of clothes or towels?

I get to leave work an hour early today to go to the bank to renew the mortgage. It should be a simple process.

Great assortment of patterns. Resemble some of my favorites. My two very favorites are https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/butterfly-hat and https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/snappy-hat I tend to knit chunky two colored hats for those I donate. I assume if someone needs a hat they need it for warmth not style.

Very nice. I like that butterfly hat in the striped yarn.

Well…I’ve had a busy day. I was up at 8am ready for the chat club at ten. Today we had a twenty question 🙋‍♂️ Quiz, the subject was yorkshire. It was a great laugh and I enjoyed it. It cos me $1 and got a raffle ticket, but I never won today, so that’s fine. It isn’t on next week because we are going on a trip to a garden centre and may have lunch there.

This afternoon I went back to the hall and had knit and natter. I got the back finished all but a few lines. It’s looking 🤩 pretty. We talked about all sorts this afternoon and such a laugh. I wasn’t laughing when I realised I couldn’t pay my $1.50 because I’d left my purse at home. I felt 😢 awful. But they told me not to worry and they will put my name in the window 🪟 saying Susan owes money. So I am let off for a week. I shall have to pay twice next week.

I’m reluctant to turn my tv 📺 on tonight. I had it frozen again last night. I think it’s the 📦 box. At one time I had all the 🏭 factory settings on my screen. It’s getting beyond a joke now. When I’m at S and b I sit with Marilyn. She’s lived here all her life. So today, a gentleman came up to me and said was I Susan? I said yes. He said he was her brother and she’d told him to look out for me. Yes, all in all it’s been another good day and if the tv 📺 behaves I’ll have had a good day and evening.

I’ve really got to get some petrol in and do some food shopping, I must go Thursday. Wendy’s tomorrow. And Cassie comes in the morning. I’m going to take my knitting 🧶 to Wendy’s, she’s crotcheting blankets, so we can chat all afternoon again. It soon comes round to Wednesday.

I have to stay ,which I don’t mind, at Stephen’s on Friday night. He’s got little 🚘 car booked in for its MOT on Saturday morning. He’ll take her for me. Home Saturday afternoon I hope.I hope she passes. I usually take it to his friends garage, who checks it all over and if there’s anything needs repairing or new put it on for the mot. Fingers crossed.

Love yawl….stay safe….I’m really low on coffee, like 20 tins left. Gone are the days of 93🤨

I hope your little car passes MOT without any problems.
And I hope you can get more coffee soon.
