Fortunate to say I have no GAS. haha
I have digital and film gear which does all I want it to do. I’m focussed on just enjoying and having fun with photography.
I'm outta GAS paying for. Lets see... do I eat, pay fuel bills, and keep roof over my head or buy camera gear? The decision was made for me.

Since I have absolutely no interest in mirrorless
Haha, I am certainly the same. Yucky!
Very pleasing to see there are still so many content people simply enjoying the hobby. I'm enjoying photography as much as I ever have with my 13 and 16 year old camera bodies.

With what I am doing now what I have is perfect
I'm happy with my Nikon Df and my old film lenses, from 28mm to 500mm. I'm retired so the only client I have to please is me. But I would consider buying a 14 or 18mm used lens...
I don't have a lot of gear, but it is still more than I use. When I decide what I can't live without I'll be looking for a buyer for the rest, or maybe make a trip to Goodwill because none of it is "professional grade."

I will purchase my first digital camera during Black-Friday sale. I am interested in the Nikon Z-6. I am a street photographer most of the time, so the Z-6 meets most of my requirements.
Thank to all of you for the information from your postings.

Have you considered the smaller Z50 for street photography?

I will keep what I have...

Yes I have and it is a nice small camera. The added low, light capability of the Z6ii appeals to me. I am a night phoitographer. My current camera is a Nikon F2, so the Z6ii is about the same size.
Thank you for your response.

Are you going to get the Z6 or Z6II?
There's only one major component upgrade that I'm looking at doing in about a month. It's been something in the works for about a year and a half.

I'm shooting old, entry level gear. I have no intention of up-buying. I am pleased with the quality of the photos I take with it. I print many of my prints (usually 11x14) and am happy with their quality.
When my present gear no longer works, I will purchase used, entry level gear from MPB.
You should see my sling bag; it's a repurposed baseball sling bag for carrying a ball, glove, and bat. I picked up for $7 at a local odd lot store. Yes, I am cheap.

What is it? I have one as well that is long term and that's picking up a final DSLR if Nikon release another so I can prolong or possibly totally avoid ever moving to mirrorless. Yucky!
