I’m totally happy with the gear I have.
Fortunate to say I have no GAS. haha

I have digital and film gear which does all I want it to do. I’m focussed on just enjoying and having fun with photography.

Pretty much the same, and for me moving into a comparatively slow photography season. Not even any widgets on the want list.

I'm sticking with what I have & darn happy about it
Have an upcoming trip to Egypt in Feb -- so all the primary gear has been cleaned-up, tested & packed.
Will use the backup camera during the holiday's

Sticking with what I have also.
My DSLR is over 10 years old, and my bridge is over 14.
They both work nicely for me.

My latest and greatest camera is 13 years old I think.

Have done some updating over the past few years. So I am good with what I have to last a long time.

If an old camera is the only tool you have in your bag of tricks, you need a new bag.

I am happy with what I have - my equipment is not the limiting factor in my photography - it’s limited by my creativity and imagination. Having said that, I was out shooting an Owl with my FF Canon and my 100-400L (trombone version) the other day, and if it hadn’t been for the IS, I wouldn’t have been able to get the shot, because with the lens all the way extended, I could not keep it from shaking. That has caused me to rethink if instead, what I need is a longer lens (like the new 70-300) for my crop Fuji.

I, too, will be sticking with what I have. The Nikon D750 and the D810 will do everything I need them to and I have all the lenses I need as well.

I have three camera bodies and a pile of lenses. I should get my act together and try to get rid of the stuff I don’t use.

I used to shoot a lot of events for organizations in which I was active but I retired a couple years ago so my cameras are now used primarily for family stuff. Low light performance was important to me for the events but not so much for the family stuff. When I was active I was fairly easily tempted by new and better stuff but I now feel satisfied with what I have.

There are a couple bodies I might like such as the D850, which has focus bracketing for stacking macros but although I could probably budget them I don’t manage to justify them to myself.

I look at new stuff frequently but I’m not getting any younger so I don’t need to acquire stuff that I would only use on a limited basis.

When I retired and moved out of a house that I had lived in for 35 years I filled three 20-yard dumpsters and left a half a house worth of furniture for the new owner. I don’t need to repeat that with camera equipment.

Same here but new stuff somehow sneaks in when I’m not even really looking for anything special.

I used to buy the so called 'pro' cameras. I had a D1x, D2xs, and D4s. When I started upgrading lenses is when real sticker shock set in. One lens cost more than the three bodies combined. The better lenses made a bigger difference than the bodies.

But since new toys are always fun, while I knew the Z9 was coming, I opted for a Z fc. I can't imagine shooting at the speeds the Z9 is advertising.

I'm waiting for a steal on a Nikon 300mm f2.8 someday. With everyone's DSLR doom and gloom maybe it won't be long.

Otherwise I'm good. I have found 2 or 3 lenses that flip a switch in my brain and I'll probably sell the rest.
