To both traderjohn and Dannj...
In answer to your query this image was to bring home the paradox of requiring 18 year old females to register for
the Draft. Selective Service law as it’s written now refers specifically to “male persons” in stating who must register and who would be drafted.
The constitutionality of excluding women was tested in the courts. A Supreme Court decision in 1981, Rostker v. Goldberg, held that registering only men did not violate the due process clause of the Constitution.
The House Armed Services Committee voted in Sep 2021 to expand registration for the Selective Service System, commonly known as the draft, to include women, a move that brings the requirement one step closer to becoming law.
As part of the debate on the fiscal 2022 defense policy bill, committee members voted 35-24 to require all Americans ages 18 to 24 to register for the draft, not just men.
Currently America is defended primarily by an all all-volunteer force...
The all-volunteer force has been one of America's great success stories over ... eliminated the draft, creating the military as it is today.
However the Selective Service System has recently stated: "The Selective Service System, if given the mission and modest additional resources, is capable of registering and drafting women with its existing infrastructure."
Since UHH rules prohibit any "Political" posts I simply left interpretation to be determined in the eyes of the beholder...
I could have drawn the same conclusion viewing the very attractive "ginger" in your Memorial Day post Dannj if you had not provided a narrative...
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-699088-1.htmlThis is UHH and is dominated by males... Thus using "Hot Chicks" seems to be germane to generating interest... Simply take a look at the number of views in the Nude Photography, Boudoir Photography, NSFW, Discussions and Pictures.
However since both of you seem to not appreciate the inappropriateness of Drafting young females to defend America I've posted an image from a wonderful session I had with a USMC First Sergent (E-8)... (Jessica), who is absolutely Awesome! She trains both female and male recruits on a rifle range at the Marine base in Virginia.
Marine Sergeants are responsible for the training subordinates in their basic military skills and their respective military occupational specialties. ... Sergeants are responsible for assisting fellow marines with their personal and professional development by ensuring they have the training and resources they need.
I trust that Jessica meets your expectations of how a Professional Marine should appear on UHH.
To this end I apologize if my initial post wasn't interpreted as intended...
The pose first shown was at the request of the young ladies mother who accompanied her on set.
Wishing all who view this the very best on your photographic journey...
